So this is my first go at a decent lfs movie. Did I hit the mark? Should I consider a career in fishing instead?

you really should improve to make your movies not "just another movie of cars driving and crashing"

keep up the good work, dont let bad critics slow you down, instead - make them speed you up to your goal as a fishing expert....i mean sucessful LFS movie maker

Tá mais ou menos Tuga!! ... mas acho que podias ter feito melhor...

It's an ok video...decent, but you could do a lot better, i know that.
Soo, try to sinc. the action with sound, and edit a litle bit the colors or brightness, otherwise, it would look like a simple replay.

But, keep them coming.

Ps.... quando fizeres aquele planos dos carros a virem na direcção da camera, das duas uma, ou metes a cam mais alta, ou cortas o video antes de ele trespassar a cam.
