Hi all, I have a very annoying wireless problem, I'm on a home network, and keep timing out/lagging badly, I've tried moving the router, changing various settings, and nothing seems to work, I didn't/don't have any downloads running at all, I'm at a loss for what could cause it. The connection goes from 54mbps down to 1mbps and then stays there.

Does the wireless signal strength stay at good or does it die?

It can do both, usually it stays at good/very good, but can dip down to low.

Move your router something around it (Phones/tvs/monitors etc) could be causing interference. Also changing the channel that its using in the routers config page could help also.

Microwaves. I know in my house when I used wireless (as of about 5 hours ago I was wireless on this PC), the microwave would kill my wireless connection.
