Just been in a race & disqualified - because I drove through the pits & didn't know what to do

wha? If it was a "Stop - Go" penalty, just stop in the little yellow bays, wait for "Completed" to appear and pull away"

Remember, 48 Mph speed limit in the pits!

Pull into any of the yellow boxes and stop. The very first and very last boxes might not work, and should be avoided in general in case someone happens to leave a garage in front of you.

Simply stop and wait til it says 'Finished'.

you also might have drove on a track with 2 pit areas and drove into the wrong one, just remember that the one near you started is the one you will pit at.

It is a good idea to note which end of pitroad you exit the garage when you join the server. That is where the majority of joiners will blast out of the garage right into you when you are pitting.

Example, Aston National, most join closest to pit exit, so make your pitstop at the earlier pits. Westhill is opposite where new joiners will come from near pit entrance, so pit towards the exit. It is different for every track.

Many times people are blasting on the throttle just as soon as their car joins in the garage, thus they blast right into you if you happen to be pitting in front of that garage area.

What makes matters worse is that your pitting is interrupted by you moving... Your damage is repaired and your tires are changed, yes, but your tank isn't filled up to the value you set... Not the end of the world in a public, as you'll never have to fill up in a 5 lap race anyway, but it'll be the worst thing that can happen to you in a league race...

League race you shouldn't have people joining in the middle of a race illepall .

But its not the end of the world if you simply just find another pit box and finish refuelling

Sucks only being able to pit once per lap. No matter how many pit boxes you stop at it doesn't work Guess it's to prevent people from pitting and completing their stop go penalty at the same time?

How many real life racing series do you see someone pit, leave the pit, then deside to stop in a different pit for something they "forgot"? illepall

How many real life racing series did you see where the new tires appear on your car out of thin air? C'mon, it's still a game!

hmm lapper help me to remove from track all boring noobs driving permanently too fast on pits and ignore penalty advises at all FRH servers.:haha:
