Well I have 1 now, and have had approx 13 different cars in the last 3 yrs. These steam from the 1.6 petrol focus estate, to a Mondeo Titanium X, and the Cmax 2.0l Ghia, and the Mondeo ST 220.

I like them, expecially the ones with all the bells and whistles.

Oh, yes, I do work for Ford hehe

Mondeo ST220 :lovies3d:
I used to drive one of these (like 20 years ago), loved it!

See, notice its really the Americans that are saying Fords are good, because they don't know what we have in Europe

TBH American Fords and European Fords, are 2 different manufactureres.

Then we have Aussie Fords

I don't know where to put those
Had 2 and loved em both, 1st one was a mk3 fiesta SI (supposed to be a 1.6 16v engine)with a 2.0 mondeo engine in it with a few go faster bits on it. Was an absolute go kart round corners with the coilies on it and the great ting was it only cost 200 quid to buy and when a panel got dented just used to bash it out with a hammer and paint it a bit, now got a mk5 fiesta smaller engine but handles really good.............well until i put it in a field anyway
I have a Mk5 Zetec 1.25 16v- first car and I can't really fault it. Nippier than a lot of 1.4s from other manufacturers and it's the last decent Fiesta (except for the ST and ZS) Ford made. All newer (Mk6 Fiesta, Mondeo etc) Fords are just heavy, ugly pieces of crap.

Exactly the one ive got, quite nippy for the size of motor aint they
Drop a 1.7 Racing Puma (Yamaha) engine in those mk5s and you'll be flying

You seem to have this mixed up. It seems to me that the UK/Europe crowd are the ones who love their Fords.

yes, they are quite different as all cars are between the Americas and Europe. You guys have the good ones and we in America are stuck with crappy American cars. Makes no sense to me.

I can't buy a decent American car for the life of me with a proper transmission. Automatics are all that's available in most cars. I can't wait for my wife's car to be paid off so I can get me a new car. When they tell me, "It's not available in a manual..." I can't wait to ask, yell, and scream "Then how the f... are they selling them in Europe!?!?! Get me a European transmission!!!"

Fords are cheap. It's the only reason I have one now, because a new Ford is the same price as a used quality built import, but I'm tired of having a 15 year old vehicle to trade.
I'd rather get a Mazda RX-8 rather than a Ford Mustang

PS: I own a ford. it has a 0 L engine , no bodywork and rapid suspension ohh yeah it has a million gears topped off with free way steering and active throttle. Masterpiece!

Niccee... But if you ask from me, I wouldn't say MX-5 that manly.

MX-5 over a GT40? a small 1.8 car over a V8 supercar?

Would take the V8 anyday.

The thing on the net i find funny is alot of people will moan against ford then say can't beat my skyline or evo or subaru. In my view it's hard to believe they even own one of those cars, they only saying it as they are most popular cars around. Or the people moaning have no car or just clones of each other.
The Aussie fords look awesome. I love the F6 Typhoon.

I hope to buy an other car in a few years, just as soon as possible. I really love cars and driving. My 1.8 diesel Fiesta is pretty fun to drive and it's great at cornering, but it misses acceleration power.

I'm kinda doubting between two very different cars. My brother-in-law used to have a CRX del sol, it's a fun car, acceleration is good, and it was pretty comfortable and had full option. So a Honda, versus... a 2002 Ford Mondeo. My brother-in-law drives one, my parents drive one, I drive it sometimes, and it's so nice. I love Mondeos!

Aaaah, gimme some money!
I drive a ford escort 1.6 finese.. car handles great, pleanty of speed, nice features; air con, elec windows etc.. down side is the insurance sucks for me, and the MPG sucks.

the VAGroup beat anything Ford has to offer.

And only for for 5 grand extra
It's just the name of the car that makes it. We have 4 Fords on the driveway, never had any major problems with any of them. My sister was doubting between a Focus or a Mercedes B-class. But for the exact pricing on the basic Merc, she had a full option Ford. Hard choice eh.
There are many people that buy a low spec BMW 3 because... It's a BMW. I don't care about the name of my car, so for the same price, I'll go shopping at Ford and find myself in a full option sedan instead of the basic one. I prefer added options instead of a better finish, because after all, I'm not picky enough to notice the lack of finish.

Except the most boring engines possibly EVER designed.
