I have been having this problem with quicktime pro and fraps. When I try to play a movie I made with fraps, I can hear the audio in quicktime pro but no video. I have read the troubleshooting page but when I get here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resources/components.html I dont know which one to use? Plz help

What about using for compressing the video XVID codec.Its for free.
You could try M$ media encoder which produce .WMV files or DIVX codec.

I would say these are much better then quicktime.Very unusual codec to use.

If you need to just view the video, use VLC. If you NEED to get it working in quicktime and the file is *.avi or *.ogg you can use Gspot to find what codec it is encoded with and then find out how to get that codec to quicktime (or windows if quicktime can use the codecs installed to windows, I dunno).
