RTFR has been very changing in terms of car/track combos and regular racers had to deal with whatever was thrown to them, that is if they were interested to arrive - that was the car with this combo which can be described as one of the toughest. The rollhappy NGT class car UFR coupled with track with highest curbs wasn't too atractive for people as 24 drivers in qualifying is the repeated lowest attendance this year. Despite pessimistic prognoses about new retirement record, finishing rate was still above 2/3 - not even lowest this year. However this race repeated other very old record - it featured a new race winner just like in previous race and last time there were new additions to RTFR Winners club from back to back races was december 2016/january 2017 and most noticably that new winners pair also was started by a scottish driver winning a race in Rockingham oval.
The new addition to Winners club as you can see in the picture is Suforr - a spanish driver who has been around top positions latelly and has scored 6 top5 finishes before this race, including 2 each 2nd and 3rd place finishes this year. This week he qualified 3rd,got promoted to outside of front row due non-starter and took over the race lead when polesitter decided to make more adventures in the race than needed. Finishing the 2nd lap as race leader added him as 118th driver in lap leaders chart and he gathered up a total of 12 lead laps to score 1st race finish not just for himself but also all spanish drivers. Also 2nd place finisher scored his best ever RTFR result - already in qualifying Jsk halved the value of best qualifying result (from 8th to 4th),finishing result was even bigger improvement as previous best was 7th position - with this the slovakian scored his 1st top5 finish from 53 race starts. Thehemuli finished 3rd to repeat season's best result and score his 19th top5 finish, polesitter Gábor needed some repairs in pitstop after his lap 2 incident, but still raced up to 4th position to score his 80th top5 finish and practically seal the deal on current season standings win. Top5 was closed by another spanish driver Rayman, scoring his 3rd top5 finish.

Next week it's time for the XL version of RTFR - another 75 minutes race is ahead and this one will feature the fastest LFS standard car BF1 and Westhill's longest standard config without the last chicane. Full information and server will be posted and set up tomorrow. And in 2 weeks normal RTFR will return with some custom car and rather short standard track - some hints can be heard when watching the stream recoring above.
