Race statistics / RTFR .mpr folder / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated later this week)

RTFR is known for running all kinds of cars - some are easier to handle, some difficult. The latest race was deffinitelly on the difficult side - late 60ies sports car with plenty of power, low weight and grip of road tyres was a challenge even for the most skilled. Car was no stranger to RTFR - less than 2 years ago it was selected in RTFR XL,where it was raced in the longer Kyoto GP Long configuration, this week the more sprintish format with shorter track and shorter race length. Track was not a very complicated - pretty much the same Aston National, just with a scenic route alternativelly to the normal route of cadet's part.

Same car, same winner - R.Kardol celebrated race win back then in XL with this car,so he was kinda bound to repeat it. The dutchman qualified 2nd and from outside of front row he eventually took race lead on lap 1 and kept it after some struggles with competition early on. Despite not beating the 1:46 mark in qualifying,he was the only one to crack it during the race - that's his 15th fastest lap of the race, but more important - the 21st race win in RTFR,while he rounded up the top5 count to 90. The driver of the season M was the fastest in qualifying to score his 6th pole position (4th this year alone),but he lacked the consistency in the race, having to recover at least a 2nd place finish, taking the 6th top5 finish out of 6 races this season,19th top5 finish overall. The finnish duel for 3rd position was won by Unite, barely beating his countryman over the finish line - that's 78th top5 finish for him. Arska had to settle for 4th place finish, improving his season's best by a position,27th top5 overall for him. Top5 was closed by someone who also improved his season't best by a single position - Thehemuli finished 5th already more than half a minute apart winner, scoring his 8th top5 finish from 75 overall finishes.

As some might noticed from broadcast,in 2 weeks RTFR will run a rather classic combo of LFS,that has never been used in RTFR,full details as always in the weekend before it,however next week the server will be "loaned out" to RandomCar - the 3rd race of the 2024 season will be run in Blackwood and there is plenty of fresh stock in the league's cars list.
