I like the sound of the EDTracker, did you go for the cheaper sensor? How does it perform?

It looks like it's only 3 axis though, is this an issue in game?

Mate, i'm looking out at the LFS world on a 22inch monitor on a crappy desk, this isn't very realistic. The reason why i mentioned the clutch pedal is because of the realism your going on about. Do you change gear IRL by lifting off the throttle and changing up or down on sequential paddles, no...

I think it's a shame this has been implemented. It just makes it harder to drive the cars, takes some of the enjoyment out of it unless you have a clutch pedal, which i don't have.

What was wrong with the blip

I've been out of LFS for just over a year and getting back into it now, but i'm experiencing some strange gear shifting problems.

I've brought myself up to speed, and gather that it has alot to do with the clutch blip being taken out. I use a momo black and the paddles so i put the clutch on auto. I can't change down the gears with the throttle down, that makes sense but sometimes i can't change up with the throttle hard down.

I've had a good look around the forum to try and see exactly why it does this, but all i've found is people moaning about the clutch change. How should i be using it?

I would love to use this but am having troubles. I've got one screen capable of 1680 x 1050 and another that can do 1280 x 1024 but i cannot get this to work on Vista. My XP installation has just become kaput!!

Anybody have any ideas to fix this?

I don;t seem to get the feeling of going over curbs tho with the new settings.

I've tried those settings and thought they are very good. The car feels alot more stable under all conditions.

But what do other people use aswell? I have the black momo and currently use the overall strength set @ 50% the rest at 0 with center spring off.

Maybe with the app on a second screen and you see the stats update as the race is going on?

Can some one give me a hand, i'm having real troubles getting the statistics to work. This is what i do:

I start LFS Companion, then i start LFS in windowed mode because of the graphic glitch. I start LFS with the "D:\Games\LFS\LFS.exe /insim=49999" command, my cfg.txt has this at the bottom
OutGauge Mode 1
OutGauge Delay 1
OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1
OutGauge Port 56551
OutGauge ID 0

I then seltect a .mpr replay, let it play all the way through then quit LFS and click compile stats, it flicks up generating stats briefly, then i click view and nothing happens. There is only the templates in the stats folder still aswell.

I can't think of what to try next and i'd really like to get this thing running, Cheers.

Just downloaded this and i gotta say it's really impressive. Great work Becky.

The aspect i'm most interested in is the stats, but i seem to have trouble getting it to work. I'd like to use a .mpr that i've got. So i go through the replay with companion running, the backfire works so its connecting, the replay stops, what next?

I quit lfs and have to restart companion because the graphic doesn't draw, then compile stats and nothing happens, view doesn't do anything either. Any help?
