It seems that it's possible to see other cars tyre wear data for a split second when you're jumping between a car that you've given to someone else and an adjacent car. Scroll to 3:09:37 and watch at 0.25 speed

steer slower Smile

Try increasing "Steer centre reduction" in Options-->Controls. This will slow the steering wheel when it's close to centre but it will become even more twitchy at large steering angles. play arund with this setting.

Maybe someone whos using a joystick will be able to help more

GT-V34 MINE9 has an abysmal straight line acceleration, can barely keep up on straights and only with ideal exit+draft. Though it does corner quite nice so on a track with less straights like BL1r it might be alright. Still, might be worth considering dropping a percentage or two for it.

P.S. Strange to say but tBug and Kardol P2 fight was a pleasure to watch.

Quote from Aleksandr_124rus :
And in the same article, under paragraph 6.2 they criticize the inaccessibility of cars....
What is this nonsense? They entire article criticizes cars, and says how bad they are, without pointing out any pros. And then they criticize cars because not everyone owns them..🤣🤣🤣 It even sounds like a stand-up joke... did anyone read that but me?

Hm I didn't really want to get into any arguments with you knowing your track record on topics like this but this one is particularly interesting. From your comment it seems you're thinking the section "inaccessibility of cars" is talking about difficult access to cars? If I interpret your comment here right, it seems that you yourself didn't read this?

The second sentence explains what this section is about: "First, accessibility can refer to physical access to the built environment for people with disabilities". All of this is talking how car centered city planning/building causes accessibility issues for people with disabilities. Not once in this paragraph they mention inaccessability to owning a car as the main reason for overall inacessability in cities.

Quote from versiu :Most of games, LFS included, have wrong engine/throttle model.
In most games, throttle pedal just scales torque curve which is far from realistic. Thats why u don't have enouch torque at low throttle input to launch the car and it's harder compared to reality.
Same for sliding a car. Manipulating throttle to maintain/control the slide is different.

LFS:

Edit: U can even check that by manipulating intake restrictor - it's just lineary scales torque curve.

How it should look like more or less:

As u can see there's a lot less torque drop at low rpm and a lot more torque drop at high rpm.

List of games that have done this in correct way:
BeamNG
Automobilista 1
Automobilista 2
rFactor 2

For now the only way to make this better in LFS is changing throttle sensitivity curve from linear to regressive in ur hardware setting. That will make it more sensitive on beginning. Closer to what u feel in real car.

Would've been nice if you put the source for this Smile

I started playing LFS with a Logitech Formula Force EX - I think they're nearly identical. The 180° might not seem a lot but with comfortable settings you can be plenty fast, with enough practice.

Not sure how you like it but in the "settings --> controls" I was running very high "wheel turn compensation" setting (probably around 0.9-0.95, can't remember). This makes steering precise at the center so I have good control at higher speeds and only in the second half of the wheel turn (i.e. past 45°) it starts turning the game wheel much quicker for those sharp corners.
