Quote from Bub :notice, that ingame you can click "4" on keyboard and you will see AI railroad. but most people drive on they own railroad, waht is faster adn they memorize them

Hey, ya. I see AI railroad now. Something else I just noticed. When I am at the pits geting fuel/repair/tires. AI will ram the back of my car when they come in for pit stop. If AI pits at the very end of pit row they will drive were people are pited at.

I use to race on this demo server also. The other day I finally said enough is enough & will never return to this server again. Really bad racing experience.

Quote from garph :I'm going to buy Vista but I thinking of getting the 64bit version. I was just wondering about any compatibility issues anyone has had with it and if you think it's wise to even go with the 64bit version at all?

Any advice is appreciated!
  1. I asume you have xp 32 bit?
  2. If you change your os to 64 bit, than alot of your "aps". will not be compatible. Your 32 bit printer "for example" will not work with 64 bit unless there is an update for your printer & other "aps".
AI & railroad tracks

I am new to LFS, but not sim racing. So I've been playing single player S2 for a few weeks to memorize the tracks. The AI seem like they drive on a railroad track. If I brake late just before a turn, the AI will not adjust their driving line & pwnd me. Also on a straight line, when AI is side by side with me & a turn is coming up & I am in the AI's railroad tracks they will hit me due to I am in their driving line causing "training" mode failure. I could just practice online & piss people off untill i memorize the tracks. So what do you think about AI ? Maybe a little more "artificial intelligence" ?

I can't see the error screen, blury. Looks like an unstable pc. stress test stress test stress test. ATI overdrive is not a good stress test. I would recommend "memtest" for your OCZ gold ram stress test ( let it test for 4 hours ) It only stress's your memory. Then run "OCCT" it has options to stress test cpu, gpu with a mix of both cpu & gpu. If it is due to an unstable pc than these 2 programs will help you pin point a hardware issue.

If you plan to play current & future games I would what t'll january 2010. Big changes in pc hardware. Direct x 11 GPU's. current Direct x 10.1, Also PCI xpress will be 3.0 with 1GB/s per lane. Current PCI xpress 2.0 at 500 MB/s per lane. And of course new motherboards. Windows 7 64 bit a must have. If you are going to play current and older games than windows 7 64 bit, GPU with atleast 512MB, 4 gb ram, quad core cpu of at least 3.0 mhz ( alot of newer games are quad core hogs LoL ), & as far as HDD the velociraptor 300 GB 10,000RPM with 16MB buffer ( worth every penny ) is smokeing fast.
