I ordered 10 shirts on September 12. Still havent arrived. Should i be worried now?

Armas is little like LFS, it's getting better after every patch/expansionpack and is relative easy to get start, but almost impossible to master. Only two games that are worth of my time. Mostly done Arma lately, but I guess that will change again when next LFS patch is out
Anyway if anybody wants to find some laid back co-op gaming, please check out our arma2 server "JTF-2 Combined Arms Co-op" and website. It's more mature (all members >30) kind of server nothing too serius, but we do try to plan before act and follow leaders orders

So where do i sign

Maybe 3870 works better on Vista or 3870 hates my other hardware.

Yes, there ain't too many choices on drivers. As i know, there is only three drivers (cat7.10, 7.11 & 7.12) that supports 3870. If someone knows more i'm surely willing to test them

What i have discovery over time fighting with nvidia and now with ati is, that you should keep resolution and freshrate same as desktop and not use windowed mode when get multiplayer list. Then drivers just may remember AA&AF setting...or not

It's still better than Ati catalyst wich don't work even on global profile (least not on 3870 and cat7.12)

I got AA & AF working with hotkeys, but it's kinda emergency solution still something better gomes around (ati tray tools with rv670 support). Best thing would be that Scawen finally make options for AA/AF in the game, so we cant get permanent solution to the problem.

I have very high frame rates all the time (+100 fps), but with v-sync stutters like crazy and AA&AF dont work

I think it is texture loading related issue because it gets better after 1lap Well, it's always the same when you buy new computer equipment, it's the customers that do the beta testing BTW my 3870 runs on XP pro.

You could try nHancer. http://www.nhancer.com/ It does much better job controlling profiles and AA/AF settings than nvidia drivers

I recently bought HD3870 and i have notice that LFS stutters quite lot. I had nvidia 7900gt before and it never had that kind of problem. So if anyone else have 38xx card i would be interested to know how it's working.

I have had that problem with both nvidia and ati cards. It truly sucks because those setting hardly ever works in drivers. In these days LFS is probably only game that don't have AA/AF setting in game and that is a shame

There is very good program called Ati Tray Tools. When i still had Ati card, i didn't use anything but a driver and traytools, never even bothered to instal control panel/center. All settings can be made with it and it has good tool to make profiles for games including AA&AF. Also try to set your game resolution and refreshrate same as your desktop, does it help?

+1 vote for AA & AF options. Why? Because Nvidia's profiler don't work properly. If i run LFS with different resolution than desktop then AA & AF options won't work!!

Did you try to disable motherboard's game port in bios? Because if you didn't soundcard´s game port can cause problems
