So let me preface with I have not read through the forum so if these topics have been discussed already I apologize..

Okay let's begin.. So obviously a full sandbox track editor would be sweet but until then, these ideas I've had in my head seem so obvious there must be some good reason they aren't features yet. Because if not, come on!

1: Objects already in the game like dumpsters, trashcans, trees, shrubs, light poles... why are these not in our editor inventory??

2: Creating groups of object. We should be able to group objects together, save them, and open that group on any map, duh..

3: Concrete objects. There should be an option to give concrete objects the texture and grip of asphalt.

4: There should be a concrete wedge ramp for creating concave/convex shapes.

I yield my time.

Alright either roast me or this needs done ASAP Omg omg omg

Hi friends, Here is a lay I'm quite fond of. Most notable is the natural elevation change of around 30ft total + & - mixed with the surrounding foliage, buildings, and road texture give this an above average realism rating in my book. Fun for tandem or solo, you'll enjoy extending into the outer zones on this Japanese style technical layout. Thumbs up

Update!! Fixed various issues. Made the line more clear by adding clipping points and narrowing sections. Improved infield layout. over all better look and feel.

Q&A
-Outer tunnel before straight is used to carry more speed for big entry
-Pit boxes are located in the center building
-track runs clockwise infield runs counter

This is not what I mean. look at any of the top "rally stage" layouts available, where they are driving the inner roads of westhill this is not possible for me.

For example: The surfaces they are driving on in this I just fall through to a lower surface?
https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/87614-McGherkin%27s-WRC-%28Westhill-Rally-Championship%29-Stages

This one same idea except I spawn below the objects?

https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/88093-Crazy-hill-climb-stage-2-%28made-by-Kristoffer-B%C3%A4cklin%29

My question is how are they able to make this work??

How Do You Drive Outside The Map!?

I see all these really cool rally stage layouts and layouts that take you outside of the designated driving area and I don't understand how to fix the problem I'm having. Basically nothing is solid and I have grip like slicks on ice as soon as I get outside the map edges. For layouts that spawn out side the map I get an error message "could not find position on path" and spawn well below the objects. This is a problem I have with any layout that is out side of the original area. To sum it up, I have no grip (on ice) and nothing is solid or I spawn under the objects / If I spawn inside the original area, where things are solid, and try to drive over I just fall off the edge to a no grip surface under the objects. I don't understand. obviously i'm doing something wrong but I can't find any info on the topic? Thanks for any help!

A touge style down hill drift layout on your usual autocross map. Keep an eye out for the "hidden" jumps. Try slightly softening shocks or increasing ride height if the car is skidish on surface changes. Rather technical with lots of clipping points. I'm curious how tandem runs will work. Let me know what you think. Hope you enjoy!
