Under FF,Chrome,IE8 etc is the same.

Too bad... I , in therms,only drive alone (except for the IA) since my connection is by satelite,too laggy.
But under my museum desktop semprom 2600 with 512 mb,and a GEForce 5400 128 mb,with max ten IA cars all works fine,at 1280x1024x32 ,at +/- 40 fps.
I has the hope that the processor and more memory could cover the lack of the poor graphics card.
Is that so really bad?

Ghost car is a poor name.It´s more a "Real time 3D Holographic Telemetry set".

No,I do not seat upside the track,naturally.
The server kick me out with me racing,in the track,full gas...(!?!)

Sometimes in the middle of the race the server make me go "spectate by inactivity" ,after warn me about.Aleatory.
How to make sure to be "active" to the eyes of the server?

It´s not command related.If you quit the server and join another,without alter nothing,all runs well.If back to the first server,the problem still continue.Seens like those intermitent problems that fix themselves and come again presents in real cars :-).
And,yes,I know how to disable the limiter.By the way,I have learned it few times ago with the great guys that we always found in this forum.

In some servers,when starting from the box,my cars acts like has a RPM limiter.No matter how much acceleration in the pedal,no RPM up.
The same do not occurs when race starts.All works fine.
Can someone give me a light?

In my case (satelitte connection,500 kbps but 900 ms ping...),no online racing.Too much lag.So,long life to the AI.
My "to beat" are the times found in the LFS stats pages,via hotlap.
Probably there are few more guys,for many reasons,that do the same.
In the S1 tracks the AI add some fun,but the S2 ones looks as a unfinished job yet , under some aleatory situations all the AI cars even stop (?) in the middle of the road.
Otherwise,it is an alpha.Lets cry in the Scawen ears rsrsrs
