I was just on the Dori. S Drift Server. I had a FZ skin on that I did not know was a private skin. someone told me that it was private. I said sorry and 2 sec. later I get a msg that says "CHANGE IT NOW". I said I was going to and you didnt have to be such a dic about it. 1 SEC LATER IWAS KICKED !!! There needs to be a way of making skins non downloadable so they can be true private skins. Also I think it's not fair for someone or a team to be able to say that a company logo or REAL LIFE car can just be theres to use.

Christ almighty! Racers and Drifters need to kiss and make up. Yes this a racing game and yes you can drift in it. The best(racing & drifting) in my opinion out of any game. You all need to grow the F*** up. We all want to play in the sand box. Some want to play with G.I. Joes and some want to play with the Tonka trucks. What I'm trying to say is that the sand box(LFS) is here for all of us to enjoy and I don't think anyone has a right to tell anyone how to enjoy their time here.
I love to straight up race. I love how serious most players take it(Redline Racing). Sometimes I get tired of how serious some people take the racing. I'll jump into a drift server(swain,WRX). The layouts they have couldn't be any better for drifting. Drifting with another player at the same skill level as me is just as fun as straight up racing. I will admit I drift alot more than I race but I would never put one higher than the other. Both are a big part of this gaming community. Drifting might not of been a primary thought with the Devs but it is a growing aspect that can not be ignored.
Every time someone make a suggestion about how the drifting experience could be better and someone has to start shooting off their mouth how this is just a racing game or drifting isnt real racing, it puts a knot in my belly. stop being selfish, drink a pint and enjoy what you have with this game.

how do you watch a replay after you have pitted and gone back into the race. It always says not recording replay if you pit.? I can't find any info anywhere?
Also, how do you watch a replay of an online race?

I have been having a problem also after downloading the newest patch. I go on the LFS World site. download the skins that I want. Get a message that it's been uploaded. when I go and play there are only the default skins. Thanks for the help!

holy sh*t drifting gets a raw deal on LFS. Trust me when I say I understand why. One of my closest friends that I've known since highschool(I'm 30 now) is Japanese. he got me into Japanese sports cars and the crazy sport of drifting in the early 90's. One thing that realy caught my attention was watching these drivers controlling their cars in an uncontrolled manner on mountain roads with no room for error.
As an American I do apoligize for the Fast and the furious. I do hang my head in shame. Back to the point I'm trying to make.
As long as I've been playing driving games I have never found a game that has been more of a SIM than LFS. No other game can come close to being as real as this. I love to drift, I love to drift in LFS. What is wrong with that? Not every person that likes to drift in LFS is looking for a game like NFS or wants all the bling bling that comes with crappy games like that. People are worried if you make a touge board of some sort that peopel will drift on it, tell them they cant. Am I mistaken but can't you choose what cars you can use on a server? This game is made for people who realy enjoy realism over eye candy, that doesnt mean you should sh*t on me because i choose to drift around a track . I paid to be able to play this game the way I want to and I will continue to pay whenever a new version comes out. when I play online I respect the servers and the rules admins have set.
in the words of Rodney King " can't we all just get along!" Play How you want and respect other people. This game is for everyone and if people like myself will pay for it I feel that our opinions and imput should count just as much as the next guy who doesnt like to drift. I can find as many people on the Redline Racing servers who piss me off just as much as people who are drifting like arses at any givin night but they are a minority. Just don't forget about us good guys.

i would love to see some real world 2 lane mountain driving. I'v played on a few drifting courses where it was 2 at a time on the course. I would have no problems with that.

burnout, staging and reaction time are very part of drag racing.

I live in the the United States and when I go on the Fraps website to order it I can't. What happens is it asks me to tell it where I live and only gives area in Europe to choose from. Is there a link or something I am missing??? Thanks for the help in advance.

How do I get the game to recognize the gas and brake pedals as separates?

even when i pick the option as separate axis they still show up as the same one.

I was at my friends house last helping him set up his g25. I also installed the new patch on his system. After we installed the patch we were prompted to reunlock S2. When he puts in his password we got a message stating that the password must be 8 charactors or more. His password is not 8 charactors....what should he do? before the patch he had S2 and now he can't get back on.

Any suggestions????????????????????

one more thing, sorry guys.

i know you start out with enough money to buy the UF 1 but if you have to leave for any reason and you loose your car in the begining it realy sucks. I sat on the server for over 30 min trying to get someone to lend me money so i could buy the uf 1. I think the uf 1 should be a default start car that you always have and just take money when you exit the server. I'd rather be with negative money and a uf 1 than looking like a jackass begging for money.

I think you should get ride of the map. If im running from the cops I should be able to have a chance of making a clean getaway. why should they know where I'm going. also if a cop wants to sit on the side of the road I should not have the heads up of where they are by looking at the map.

it's my favorite drift layout. I could spend hours of that server!
