Those league announcements that show on the top of the page. It would be nice if there was some more control over it, like being able to disable any other annoucements than the ones coming from devs. I'd like to see the official annoucements there but I'm not interested seeing any of those league annoucements about their servers, race times or anything else.

Why are the league admins even allowed to make those annoucements as they are totally meaningless for 99.9 of forum goers? One way to fix it would be to make those annoucements "local" so that they would only show up in the right sub section... although I don't know what's possible and what is not...

I thought they only showed on the league subsection? I've never seen a league announcement anywhere else...

They show in "new posts", too.

There is no reason why a subforum only announcement should appear in new posts.
It's not a post...it's an announcement.
