Has this happened to you?
i just wanna say at first that this is probably off topic but ive been getting bored of LFS for quite awhile now and was thinking of leaving.....in the mean time i was playing games like counter strike and call of duty... I mean to say is i was getting bored of racing simulators not lfs itself (also gt4 was getting repetitve)and i took a break around 4-6 months now and i feel like giving up has that happened to you? and the worst part is it started when i bought a dfp b4 that i was a fulltime lfser everyday i would practice for 3 years straight or 2 cant remember anyhow i hope this isnt a break from this game forever....Anyway if i was to leave i would buy the game before i leave so i can show my support over the years. I am pretty close to getting a permit and my father has agreed for me getting a loan for a fairlady z which i have testdrived and boy was it fun. ive driven cars b4 and this car is so fun to drive so i just wanna say goodbye if this is my final moment so ill be probably moving on to bigger and better things such as real racing. ill try and keep in touch with the comunity.

by the way the fairlady is a classic
its a nissan 280zx 1981 or 1980 not sure

And good luck with the racing.

Everyone goes through phases of loving/liking/not liking/bored of playing LFS.

And buying the game, then leaving...DOH! First thing is no one cares if you leave, there is no need to tell everyone (sorry to be harsh). And second, you haven't even been playing the full game, you've got bored of the demo.....3 years! God damn.

The full game offers more in terms of more actual content and more things to do, leagues, teams more racing.

there are times when i really got bored but after the break time i am all eager again to LFSing!

For me all depends of the time i spent before i reach the bored point. If i play day by day around an hour or two then in 2 weeks time i cant take it anymore and have to let it be for a couple of days. But after these 2 or maybe more days without G25 and LFS my system needs a ''LFS dose'' again!
thanks im kinda gonna miss the nose tail racing with the xfg online taht was real fun but the reason i pulled away from lfs well the reason i think is because i experienced real cars. when i sit in my chair on my desktop and pull my wheel out i fell like racing online, but when i sit in the z i feel the excitment just to hear it roar... What im trying to say is that lfs may be a simulator but it will NEVER be the same as real life lfs feels good but wont ever feel like a real car. its just that this computer generated program dosent fire me up anymore. i want the real deal. i feel excitment when im driving for real not in my computer sitting with a toy plastic wheel connected to my computer it just feels..... lame

for instance when your going 100 mph in lfs its kinda (wow 100mph is nothing.) but in real life its just so WOW its hard to handle its much diffrent from the game real driving is so much diffrent and the excitment is there thats my veiw of it anyways

what im saying is if this happens to you im trying to get an answer here because i dont know if online racing is for me anymore.

and see you dont get it your not gettting what im saying what im saying is im not bored of LFS im bored of RACING SIMULATORS not lfs it wouldnt matter if i played the full version its the fact of the real deal and the computer generated wannabe simulator

for instance my z in gt4 feels somewhat similar but theirs a big diffrence it dosent feel real thats my problem when i have the z in the game and real life theirs a big diffrence.

let me put it this way i can drive that z for months in a parking lot all by myself just practicing and i wont get bored however try that in lfs and watch how bored you get i bet it would take a couple of hours if not half an hour
I got bored also in demo times, when I played it about 4 months, then break for some time, then started to play again and so on. Till i got S2, I never get bored actually, there is so many combos to practice on...

OK, if you don't like racing sims any more cause you've done some real driving and the racing sims aren't real then there really isn't anything anyone can say so.....bye, bye.

I would get 10million times more enjoyment driving any car around a "parking lot" for 6 months than LFS, but i doubt it'l cost less than S2
Its more Expensive if he crash anywhere

But i leave LFs too for 6 mounth after a pause i race more then before

Just 10 million are you sure, and is it the same parking lot ? same car ?

Id get prettty bored fast , id get 20 million times more pleasure just watching you drive it for 6 months

Yes it is.

It's called life. You can't expect to fall in love and stay in love with one thing forever. People's interests will general change if it's not something they're working on themselves (i.e. they're not passionate about it).

Ok, exageration - so far i've only ever driven about a few miles in a real car on a private airfield and I loved every minute of it - even though I was only going about 40 tops and I wasn't pushing any limits, just driving a Turbo-Diesel Golf.

Same with my bike - riding that on the road, even only for the 7 mile journey to and from School the first time was probably more fun than every LFS race i've ever done put together
I got bored of LFS a while ago, and now my graphics card is fux0rzd I went back to playing playstation. I'm a bit hooked on driver again, started a new game on it. I also played some GT4 again, which (as I said few days earlier to a friend) annoyed me for being too easy/arcade.

When I get a new graphics card I'll get back into LFS again a bit more I guess.
Jakg, you need to get out more if simply driving around would be bliss. Bliss for me would be if my mom would do as she wants to, and let me push some limits.
I sporadically play LFS, the last time I played was February before then November 06. Money well spent.
its 10am and the noise ban ends, I hop into the TKM and my brother pushes it down the pitlane, the starter drops, the engine fires into life and sputters out of the pits, I de choke and open the trottle as I join the circuit and suddenly I'm in one of the fastest accelerating objects in the world at that moment! Eyes wide I swerve to bring life into stone cold gyres and I wonder how the he'll it was I ever found this sedate!

3 laps later it feels sedate, the speeds no longer challenge me, my adrenaline has it covered.

Now for a thrill I need a dogfight with another TKM, the thrill of close racing never dies...

Shame I can't race anymore in the real world, but wait LFS gives close racing!

He'll be back...
