This event will be held on March 8th, 2008 both at 3:00PST For Qualifyer and 4:30PST For The Actual Event. THE PST TIME ZONE is -8GMT SO PLAN ACCORDINGLY IF YOUR IN OTHER STATES OR COUNTRIES!!!!


It Will Be On A Section Of Kyoto National Reverse And Will Be XRT, RB4, And FZ5 Only.

To Ensure Fairness For Xrt And Rb4 Drivers, FZ5 Drivers Cannot Pull Away On The Straightaways. (Same For Xrt And Rb4 Drivers If Far Enough Away From Fz5.

There Will Be 25 People Will Be Qualifying On Solo Runs (2 Runs A Person), Then 16 Of Those 25 Will Make It To The Competition. There Will Be 5 Substitues Just Incase Someone Cant Make It.

You MUST Send Me An Email At Rb26rps13_Drifter@hotmail.com And Must Include Your LFS Login Name, LFS Racer Name, And Your Team Affiliations. If You Want To Be A Judge, Send Me An Email With Ur Login Name, Lfs Nickname, And Say You Want To Judge.

Rules And Regulations:


1) Normal Tires Only. They Can Be Heated Up To 85 Degrees, But Use At Your Own Risk.

2) Understeering, Missing Or Hitting Clipping Points, And Spinning Out Will Result In A Disqualification.
Durring The Qualifying, If You Crash, You Loose That Run. (If You Crash On Your 1st Run, You Only Have Your 2nd Run To Make It Into The Comp.)

3) NO SPECTATORS! If You Qualify And Dont Make It, You Can Stay (Unless Theres Lag).

4) The Competition Will Be Tandem Runs. You Lead One, You Follow One.

5) DONT BE A SORE LOSER.

Judging Criteria:

Points determining a driver's final score are awarded on following elements:
1. Angle
2. Speed
3. Line - closer to race line clipping points is better
4. Throttle position - wide open throttle is better
5. Whether the vehicle accelerates on the straightway

I Will Handpick Judges. I Will Be One Of Them, And Ill Pick The Other 2 Baised On How Much They Know About Drifting And How Well People Do It. Judges Will Judge Out Of 300 Points. (100 Pts. For Each Judge).

This event will be very nice....and the layout is pretty nice.Multiple lines possible so it's not like Tandem Duo where you needed to follow one line.Tein you should start a list of the participants.

Note to the people who wanna judge:Judging is pretty hard on this layout,a lot of tie and hard decisions.We just tested it with Mistatea and it was pretty hard some runs to tell who won because it's praticaly the same.

i wouldnt mind entering or judging, shit internet at the moment is making it a bit of a bitch at the moment.

what would the judging layout be? unless you set out specific judging instructions the judging will be too inconsistant as from what ive seen people online have a very varied and sometimes skewed view of drift judging. i know you have set out some general criterias, but im talking about designated points for each criteria etc, deductions for each straighten, pass etc etc. also rules regarding a pass, whats considered a pass and where is passing allowed etc.

idk if i can make it.Depends on the time it will be on.

Heh yeah there were some pretty intense and close battles yesterday but I'm sure that if I concentrate I can determine a winner even if its by a small mistake. :P

Plus its 3 judges so even if 2 of the say tie and one names a winner we have a winner I guess :P
