Baby Bertha and Seventies Super Saloons
Paddock footage of seventies automotive excess; Baby Bertha grunting like a pig on acid and being chased down by a mutant Skoda; the incomparable Gerry Marshall commentating an onboard lap of Oulton; and action set to a porntastic soundtrack.

"We broke the lap record on the first flying lap" ... nice.

Music is a bit cheesy in places though.

real cool, cars being driven to the track and serviced on the lawn.

There's Only One Gerry...

There are quite a few pieces of "classic" footage like this available on Racing Underground. The Australian/South Pacific Touring Car Races from the late '60s and early '70s are great. Seeing the amount of dive, squat and roll in those old barges is fantastic.
I've seen that 1971 Saloon race before but I had to watch it again. When you compare to today's super sticky cars, the slides they're doing just seem so ridiculous! Might not be the most advanced or most powerful (at that time) cars but in pure entertainment value it's 10/10.
