Suspension modeling: The Dave Point.
Ok, so today I found this article on the dave point, and have to ask, are the devs aware of this? I mean, I am pretty shure they are, but this should still be of interest to them... that, and, the cars still dont feel quite right with the current suspension modeling.

here's the link: http://www.sportcompactcarweb. ... 0205scc_techno/index.html
Trail is the distance between that point and the contact patch, but that point alone is completely meaningless.

Quote from Sport Compact Car :As you turn the wheel, some of that caster becomes camber.

Apparently the guy who wrote that article has no idea what the hell he's talking about. Caster doesn't become camber. Caster induces camber as a sinusoidal function of the steering angle.

But to answer your question, yes, LFS fully simulates caster, trail, inclination, and scrub radius.
I went to school at NJIT in Newark. I graduated in May and now live at home again in Morris county.
Hasn't the 'Dave Point' been called the steering axis offset (or kingpin axis offset when kingpins were used) for years and years?

Has it? It's known as the Kev Point around here.

And the stimulus that causes women to rip their clothes off is known as the Kev Factor.

And delusions are known as Kevlusions.

Hmm, thank you for answering my question.

Althrough, I would realy not say that Dave Coleman doesn't know what he's talking about. While no one man can know everything there is in the world, I would say that 99% chance he knows a lot more than you. Also, this makes you sound stupid.
