For some reason when I try to hook up my steering wheel to my computer and run LFS, my pedels didnt seem to work. Both of the pedels acted as a brake. Can anyone help me? Is is something inside the steering wheel? Cuz right now I have a Nascar Pro Digital 2.

EDIT: Also., my clutch is always on and my brake is always on unless i pres the pedal

EDIT: when i push one pedel, it goes about less then half way then when i push the other one at the same time it goes all the way. Why isnt my gas working?

Go into controller settings in control panel, and go into properties of your wheel, and make sure "combine axis" is turned off for the pedals.

You might have to recalibrate your pedals in LFS after doing that though, but that should be the cause of it.

no its not that, I installed the cd for the steering wheel and when i tested it, it said that the gas wasnt working. Any way i could fix that?

Usually CDs that come with stuff like that are just full of programs that may (not usually) help you set up the buttons and whatnot for some games.

What do you mean? I went to Control Panel/Game Controllers and then when i test the gas it doesnt work

What if you unplug it (USB cable), and then plug it back in?

I have a wheel like this back at my house, and the pedals did break on them, so it could just be that the pedals aren't working anymore.

I'll try to plug it in when the comp is off, I gotta have this done in 2 hours cuz thats when the LFSCar event start. If i cant fix it by then i will have to go to plan B and use gas on my steering wheel..

If its USB, you don't need to turn off your computer. My MOMO pedals always mess up when I connect them. The brake is always pressed half way by default. Then when I press it, it goes to full. To correct this, I simply unplug the usb plug from my computer, then plug it back in. This resets the wheel and pedals, and I am able to use my brake correctly.

Wheel he has though isn't FF so it doesn't work like that. Its a piece of junk wheel anyways, it was good while it lasted, but it surely didn't last long enough.

(btw I know the FF has nothing to do with the pedals, but it doesn't recalibrate everything like FF wheels do)
