I think it would be easier to show, when changing the gear ratios, besides the ratios themselves, the top speed achieved by such ratio.
For example: if I do the BW twisties at 115 km/h, I may want an additional restrictor, or some control over the location of the top power, for the exit, ie: the gear ratios. (I find this very useful in some corners)
When you introduce the blown engines (I think you should), well, we amateurs would have to use ony the argument of max exit power, which is valid, nonetheless.
