Next project is already started, a 2012 Skoda Octavia (mk3) wich will be my 1st real modern car. It will have a diesel and a factory sport (VRS) variant.

Coincidentally, I've been working on a Škoda Octavia Cup 2018 mod based on this AC mod by Trained Monkey Modding. I believe it's the same gen.

Mine is gonna be fully handmade and wagon version so we can compare wich one is better.

Front is already looking pretty good, now comes the lights and the bumper grill.

Can you share editor screenshots with blueprints or whatever you use to reference the model?

Yes, they are the same gen, but mine is the 1st series

Okay, only the mirrors and the front grill + fog lights and the roof rack are remained from the outisde.

Finally, the body is FINISHED (exect fuel door, tow hook cover, headlight washer (these gonna be texture)).

Hello everyone! I'm finally back with updates! I was taking a bit of a pause, but here it is, the interior is getting together!

Steering wheel is almost finished and fits perfectly to the car

In the last few days, I spent a lot of time with the interior and imo, it paid off. We still have a few little details, but we are getting closer to finish it!

It would be interesting to get Škoda involved in this project to get a permission to use real names and logos. I'm sure stuchlo can help you with that

I don't know, I never did nothing with licenses, so Idk, but I will ask him how is it works

One thing is that with the old Škoda cars, it was doable, but for these newer ones, it may be harder to get approval from Škoda to use them in the game.

Absolutely, it's fine for me even if you fake it up a little. Just this brand is probably the only one that will ever be licensed in LFS, so it would be absolutely awesome if all škoda's in LFS are their real life counterparts. Talk to Stuchlo first and see what can be done about it. You keep working on it the way you think it should be done. You can always update the mod later if he manages to get the approval.

Skoda has been extremely helpful in acquiring their licences for LFS mods, so do not hesitate to contact them - stuchlo and/or I can guide you if needed as we already went thru this stuff. Just be aware that this whole process may take some time (realistically up to few months), so you'll need some patience

I don't really want to wait that long, I want to use it as soon as possible. I was thinking about "Scout" just like in ETS 2, but I don't know, maybe I leave it like that

You can publish it with lore friendly names and logos first, then you can talk to Škoda and if it goes well you can delete it and republish it with real names.
