Good job, maybe the body paint can be matted?
Or you can use a darker reflection colour to reduce the amount of reflecitons
I'm not a fan of the current matte material, it really lacks of depth, hence why I tried something different. Not so long ago I made a test in the Editor, and with the new upcoming shaders I can make the steel body look like this which I think it's really nice, but the new shaders are not in the game yet so we have to wait for this result.

Here are some screens of the wheels that I did previously model, I forgot to post pics of them.

I modeled some exterior parts that weren't accurate or had missing details on the original Sketchfab model:
- Side vents behind the doors
- Side vents behind the rear windows
- License plate bezel (originally flat, I first reshaped it in LFS Editor time ago, then I now remade it again in Blender with better result)
- Resized, moved and fixed (I did properly align its vertexes in Blender) the front emblem
- Modeled panel gaps where missing (hood, trunk, front end, rear end, side trim, sideskirts)
- Fixed the design and proportions of the engine cover and (rear) hood

Improved the headlights aswell. Gave them a more accurate outer shape and optimized the internals by lowering the polycount a little bit and closing the gaps.

Very nice mod, with a slightly more detailed interior, it would be perfect Smile Stainless steel is really difficult to recreate. I did a few experiments myself, here is a material from my old Jag, if you would like to try it (based on chrome material).

Looks really good! Love the details.

Now it needs to, at least, be able to fly Omg omg omg

Many thanks for your feedback Smile As for your steel material, the texture is supposed to be used as a pattern, is that correct? So that it would mean that the body wouldn't be skinnable. I'm thinking of making it skinnable in the future, so I'm not sure about what to do yet. If we had 2 UV channels to use in LFS then maybe I could have patternized the body and made it skinnable at the same time.

Regarding the interior I'm modeling some parts for it in these days Big grin

No doubt, it needs to be skinnable 😄
nice progress, i wish you good luck

Wow, that interior looks promising, I am looking forward to it! Yes, unfortunately that texture is a pattern, using variable shine to approximate some roughness. In that case, maybe skin created from photos of stainless steel might do do job before the big LFS graphic update Smile
While working on making the car skinnable, I was aware that I couldn't use the steel pattern texture provided by Stuchlo along with a skin, but I stupidly forgot that I was already using a 50% transparent texture to handle the reflections of the steel body. So I was wondering: why do we need to use a transparent texture to handle how much reflection we want from the same "Metal" material? Can we have a few more materials that are less reflective than this one but still more reflective than a "Paint" or "Glass" material? Like 25%/50%/75% at least, so to avoid using any texture just to handle the reflections? Or even better maybe, what about having the possibility to manually tweak the reflection amount with a simple slider, using custom material settings instead of the existing presets?
Created the LOD2 model.

Mapped the body and created a skin featuring the factory side stripe vinyl.

Improved the wheel 3D model that I've made the past year. Now the wheels are also using a different model between front and rear.
