2021 RTFR and RTFR XL final standings

3rd year of RTFR standings based tournament is complete and it's time to look back and honor the best. With additional promotion of simbroadcasts this year reached new highs in terms of attendance - before this year only in the 100th RTFR race we reached 40 attendees (only 37 started though),this year 251st RTFR reached all time official high of 45 attendees, while a total of 7 of races had a full 40 car grid, while average attendace this year reched 35.6 drivers per event (twice as much as all time average). A total of 145 drivers scored at least one point in standings (42 more than last year),36 of them finished at least one race in top5 (10 less than last year). Also the amount of racewinners has decreased - only 8 drivers crossed the finish line ahead of competition, last year there were 10 of them.

RTFR 2021 standings winner: S1DUS*R.Kardol
This year went under flag of Netherlands - R.Kardol attended 23 of 25 races, won 5 of them and finished 2nd more times than anyone else - 9. R.Kardol finished outside top4 just once of the 23 attended races,he also scored most pole positions - 7. It's a significant increase in performance for him - last year he finished 13th in standings, where he won the last race of the year and finished 3rd in 2 other races.

Unite was close 2nd whole year long - he was the only driver, who was able to keep up with R.Kardol in points standings, losing to his teammate just 10 points through the year. Unite attended in every single of 25 rounds, won 4 of them and did not finish in top5 just in 3 races. In 10 races the finn set the fastest lap of the race (twice as much as anyone else). Last year Unite was 6th in standings, scoring 1 racewin. WCL's True Alpha was the only other driver, who scored more than half of winner's points through the year. He scored points in 17 rounds, won 4 of them and finished in top5 in another 4. Mr Alpha finished 14th last year, scoring a win.

2019 standings winner Botsi finished 5th in this year's standings, scoring 6 wins (most between all drivers this year) and 3 other podium finishes. Last year's standings winner Gábor finished 6th in standings and with 3 wins this year is the last of multiple racewinners. The 3 other drivers scoring a racewin this year are Excellent15,Litti and Upsas.

RTFR 2021 team standings winner: Team S1DUS
This year there is a new addition in standings tables - one made specially for teams. Already early in the year it was clear there is not much competition for 1st position in this table - Team S1dus were running away from competition without a challenge. Drivers of this team won a total of 17 races, left just 4 second place finishes for other teams free and scored a total of 57 top5 finishes, adding also 19 pole positions and 21 fastest laps to achievements.

The hosting team RGA finished 2nd,scoring 3 third place finishes (all by Mandula) and 6 fourth place finishes (most between all teams, gathering together 11 top5 finishes. The sponsoring team WCL was closelly following and occasionally even overtaking 2nd place, but at the end they had to settle for 3rd place - 4 wins (all by True Alpha) and 12 top5 finishes, including most 5th place finishes between all teams - 5. B2R finished 4th in teams standings, being the 3rd team to score a racewin,MRc is 5th with 4th place finish as best result.

Year 2021 is now complete with standartized RTFR events as only the experimental RTFR-CCCC is left ahead. Next season will start already with 1st tuesday of the year in 4th january and 1st XL race will be run in 25th january - there are planned few changes in season planning though, while also points system will be raised as there are way too many single point scorers. More details about next year's plans will be posted between x-mas and new year, but generally not much will change - we'll offer racing on tuesdays again just like all these years until today.

What comes to continuation of sponsorship by Team WCL in future is under finalizing. Team WCL is pleased to see Rony's Fun race events are still getting attention and grids are near to full from race to race, special thx for that trend goes to sim broadcasts team who is doing great and quality job for broadcasting the events ever widening audience. We would like to ensure this momentum to be continued, therefore there will be sponsorship announced soon for year 2022. The details will be clarified during Xmas break and announced in sim broadcasts team pre-show for year 2022 before next year RTFR season start.

Happy Holidays for all and let's hope year 2022 will bring ever funnier and more exciting close races for wider audience to witness Smile
On behalf of the Sim Broadcasts team, I want to thank Rony and Jari for putting on another season of successful racing action in LFS.

We put together a calendar of 38 broadcasts totalling almost 60 hours of air time and enjoyed a season that saw a dominant performance by Team S1DUS, and improvements from emerging talents up and down the field.

Rony's Tuesday Fun Race never ceased to put a smile on our faces, and provided a reliable source of entertainment on three out of the four Tuesdays of every month this year.

Eoin and I mentioned this a lot in commentary, but it's as true now as it has ever been. You'll always find someone to race around your pace in RTFR, and it's a nice community to be a part of.

We're excited to announce our plans for 2022, but it's good to take a moment to reflect on the year we've had before setting our sights on what's to come.

Congratulations to all of the competitors and organisers for another fantastic year.
