Whenever i come to a full stop. My acclerator stays at max when im not touching it and i have to spectate and then join again.

Are you using a mouse or wheel+pedals? If wheel then which one?

Have you checked which input is bound to the throttle?

In options->display->show pedals you can set the pedal positions to be shown on the lower right corner of the screen, so you can see, if they respond to the inputs you are using.
