Hi, I just downloaded the game with no knowledge of it at all. I read the controls and setup and everything, but when I try to go into a tutorial or a single player race and I try holding left mouse button to accelerate my car only reverses. No matter how I change controls or anything, whatever button is set to accelerate will only ever make me reverse.

on the dashboard is a gear indicator number.
R=reverse
Use shifter on your wheel to change gear or press up-shift button on keyboard. (I think default is S=shift up, X=shift up)
In options you can change controlls..
