I wanted to ask for some advice on which system to go with. Now, there are 2 systems, the IGCSE system and American system. Currently, I am in the American system but the IG system starts from next year but I don't know what system to go with. Each of them have their pros and cons so I don't know what to go for. Thanks for the advice!

It depends on the subject and there might be a possibility to take 'alternative to coursework' exams too. IGCSE isn't terribly hard, just boring. It's easy to pass with top scores even if you aren't a genius provided you revise. It's very theoretical as well, so all you really do is read, read and read. If you'd be taking physics, chem or bio you'd have practicals but they're not exactly mind/bogglingly difficult. I know nothing about the American system though. If you were to go for IGCSE and then later on GCE ('A' levels), they're a bit more challenging. Don't take more than 3 subjects at GCE level or you're screwed (or have no life).
