Try Fraps to record a video.

maybe he means shift+u?

Don't use Cam hack for a birds eye view, Just simply do shift+ u instead, and for recording try FRAPS.

i think he means that app where it multiplies the custom view values by like 100 or something.

Yeah, but it makes it a lot easier doing shift+u
