ATTENTION ALL LFS RACERS

TEAMS
Each driver is considered a team.. driver substitutions are fine, no restrictions. Substitute drivers must use their own nickname…Substitute driver’s must be confirmed by registered league driver, (driver they are subbing for)…all points earned by sub driver will go towards registered drivers points
(NO SUBSTITUTIONS IN FINAL RACE) league only
CHAT
No chat during race. Use common sense WE ARE Watching every lap
(ALL CHAT RULES WILL BE ENFORCED 100%)
LEAGUE AND EVENT QUALIFYING
These rules may change, depending on the event
In order to insure quality noob free racing,, We will have a one day, all day acceptance qualifying sessions for those racers who’s skills are unknown to IHR admins….This acceptance qualifying will be held during the week prior to event.. For those racers who are well known , this will not be required………From signups we will inform you, if you are required to qualify to enter event……We will be looking at 1. Speed 2. Racing in traffic 3. Racing clean 4. Passing 5. Overall skill

All Starts and restarts will be single file, yes single file ….

PRACTICE SESSIONS
IHR Rally server will be set to scheduled event, one day before event..
This will be done , so participants can practice

POINTS STANDING

Points standings and or results will be posted within two days of race on IHR forum
PRACTICE SESSION
Practice will be open three hours before every race ….
QUALIFYING
Qualifying on all tracks will be held on race day each week just before race…..All Racers will have 1 outlap and 1 hotlap.. so make it count…… Qualifying will start one hour before each race…. Qual procedures subject to change in some events…
START TIME
All races will start at 11am pst. West coast us. Time so check your local time zone…..
Night races will start at midnight pst

CAUTIONS
On Road circuit races , cautions will be called on ALL SPINS AND CRASHES WHERE OTHERS MAY BE AFFECTED……Pace car speed will be 45mph…..Pass pace car and you will be sent to back of line….All race commands will appear at CENTER of screen….Caution ,,, pit closed,,, pit open,,, green flag etc. (IF YOU HIT OR SPIN OR CRASH SOMEONE DURING A CAUTION, YOU WILL BE SENT TO BACK OF LINE… 2ND OFFENSE OUT OF RACE)


PITSTOPS
There will be 1 mandatory pitstop required
WEEKLY PASSWORD
There will be a password for each race. PW will be sent out post signup….. (REMEMBER TO CLICK ON PRIVATE ON SERVER LIST)
INCIDENTS
Any incident not covered in the above rules will be handled by race admins, on a case by case basis .. admin will make all final decisions

IN RACE COMMANDS

GREEN FLAG = go go go
CAUTION YELLOW FLAG =
*Slow to 75mph oval
*Slow to 45 mph road course (SPEED WILL VARY DEPENDING ON TRACK)
*(speed will vary depending on track)
*Do not pass car in front of you
*(SINGLE FILE DURING CAUTION)
*(WE WILL ASK RACERS TO FORM UP ON ALL STARTS IN A STAGGERED FORMATION AT LEAST ONE CAR LENGTH BEHIND CAR IN FRONT OF YOU)
PIT LANE CLOSED =
*Pits will remain closed until entire field pass pit entrance
PIT LANE OPEN = Pits open to all
RED FLAG = When you see red flag slow to 45 mph and wait for instructions top left, in chat, and or ventrillo.
BLACK FLAG = When you see BLACK FLAG look to top left chat, and or ventrillo to See who has been black flagged
PENALTIES = All penalties will be issued by ADMIN
You will be spectated if you argue penalty during race…After race you may argue penalty to all RACE admins..if it is determined that penalty was unjust, you will be awarded points for position you held at time of penalty.
VENTRILO
(ventrilo is used in all IHR events
1. Admins will regulate race in ventrilo
2. Racers are allowed to use ventrilo to chat during race
3. All in race commands will be given on screen in all situations
4. Admins will confirm all race commands via ventrilo
5. Commands given on screen superceed ventrilo commands
6. There will be an open channel for all racers, and private team channels also…

8. Racers that want to chat on ventrilo
9. IHR admins wil be able to talk to all channels in vent during race
10. ALL PRE RACE DRIVER INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE GIVIN VIA VENTRILO
11. (UNLESS YOU SEE CAUTION YELLOW FLAG IN MIDDLE OF SCREEN,, THERE IS NO CAUTION)
12. It is a good idea to install ventrilo just so you can hear instructions
13. Being in ventrilo for all IHR events is mandatory

4. During cautions Pit lane will open after field passes pit lane \
5. (IF YOU CRASH OR SPIN, OR DAMAGE ANY CAR DURING CAUTION YOU WILL BE SPECTATED…. SO BE CAREFUL)

CLEAN RACING
1. Show consideration too all other racers, We will issue a warning to all drivers before start of race…This means there will be NO warnings once race starts,, first offense = drive through penalty, you will be spectated for 2nd offense.
