Controller help
Hello.
I using a wheel that is called Driving Force from logitech.
My porblem is that I can`t select seperated pedals, meaning I must use combined. And that sucks big time, if I brake it only releases the trottle not any brake, and so on.
Any way I can get this away, since if I try to run them seperated it only goes like insane and does whatever it feels for!
You must select separate axis in windows.

Then in LFS you must tell LFS which is brake and which is accelerator. Then tell it to invert them if necessary. Then calibrate in game. Then drive....

More specifically:

*Windows Control Panel / Game Controllers

*Choose your wheel from the list and go to Settings.

*Untick the "Combined Pedals" box.

*Close that window.

*Click OK on the remaining window.

In LFS Options/Controller

*Choose seperated pedals and recalibrate all axes.

*If your pedals seem to be working backwards click the Invert button next to that axis.

thanks Tristan, just thought a little more detail may help others too
Thanks very much, now I`m ready for racing with you fast guys :P

Tried those stuffs but I have one problem. When I select game controllers and my wheel with pedals I only can recaliber and set a mid point. No way to enable seperate \ combined pedals. This is a ps2 wheel that use usb port, may it have anything with this to do?
And btw, when I choose seperate now my brakes always are on, pedals are reversed and the invert button is gone. What I do now ?
Looks like the drivers don't provide an option for it. You can't do much about it. Sorry.
damn, do I need to drive at this sucky way all time
Omg, I hate this, the best thing, to brake into corners are now damn much more difficould when I only can use one pedal at time, damnit! :`(
Ah ha, I think everyone is thinking you have the Driving Force Pro. You just say Driving Force in your original post. Is this the blue wheel for the PS2? Or is it the black one that has 900 degree rotation (2.5 turns lock to lock)? If it is the blue one which is just Driving Force, I don't think you can drive with separate pedals. My brother-in-law has this wheel and he says he cannot use separate pedals.
It just stands logitec driving force.
Yes, blue and black one. Is blue on the side where you have your hands, and else places it is black.
But why can`t I use seperate on this one lol?
Stupid wheel hehe.
Is orginal for PS2
Edit, it only turns 90 degrees, so it can be pain in ass as it is very sensitive sometimes..
You can use it for seperate pedals, as I said above you need to download and install the Logitech Software for it to work.

I had / have the same wheel ( now use Momo ) and had seperate pedals working excellent in LFS.

Get the software. Trust me it will work

That would be 90 degrees each way. Should say 180 degrees (lock to lock), that is what everyone else would say for comparison.

I will have to tell my brother-in-law this. I don't think he is using version 4.60. Probably came with version 4.40.

4.40 Worked also, he just needs to make sure he turned off the Combined Axis in the Logitech Software options in Control Panel, Game Controllers, Advanced ( something like that, sry at work )

Where the FF, Center Spring Settings are, its at the top of that window.
