Knew I couldn't be far from a fellow LFS'er

That wasn't close to the action though! Go to the Oliver's Mount motorbike races, there's a small wood fence, 3ft of grass, then superbikes doing 150mph!

haha nice Croft is another circuit that I've been to where you can get proper close, was at the Ford RS OC show there 2 years' ago and was seriously close to the track on the last sequence of hairpins- close enough get a view of a bloke in an Escort Cosworth grimace when his turbo packed in lol. then managed to get in to the pit area and see the damage for myself- was ace!

btw checked out the footage on ITV last night, seems that I was bit further over to the left of that pic- the tv camera covering the final bend was to the left of me, and the pit entance was almost directly opposite where we were sitting Also had a cracking view of Surtees as well and about half of the pit straight.
Coverage is starting right now on ITV4 of Brands Hatch for those who want to see it.
Turkington the best driver in the BTCC by far

I like Turkington but he only beat a man 5 years away from collecting his pension, and a TV presenter, so let's not get too carried away
Brilliant, just brilliant. So pleased for Turkington.

James Thompson, every single time he has come back he won races, no matter what car he drove.

Both of which are very good drivers,?.

Sorry for double post, and yes, but I reckon Thompson deserves a decent works drive in WTCC if I'm honest, he's made some stellar drives in cars that haven't or wouldn't of been race winning machines in other good touring car drivers hands IMO
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know the song which ITV4 has been using all year when they show the grid? At one point they used Dizee Rascal, but that isn't the right song.
Just watched all 3 races, Turkington drove fantastically, definately one of the most deserved BTCC champions, the cleanest driver in the field and one of the quickest, some awesome racing, completely obliterating the field. Nice intentional wreck-fail by Matt Neal on Turkington though coming out of Druids.
i know coz thats my kinda musik xD

By the way that was Turkington that pushed Neal off, he said as much in the interview afterwards because if he hadnt have done it then Neal would have done what he did to Johnny Adam and had him off, Turkington finally got tough with someone.
