Track Day fun at Pacific Raceways.
Second one this summer. It was all well until brake rotors started to overheat on the downhill turns and developed a good deal of hot spots. But it was still good. Was running with novice group, because the car isn't too fast (MX-3 V6 2.5L, 160 whp at best), but I reworked the suspension with urethane bushings and that was a pretty solid improvement.

Been riding with instructors, getting some pointers, and it's helping. Managed to shave off 6 seconds off my usual lap times, but then got kind of stuck in traffic, and ended up chasing novice Corvettes.

And today I played some LFS, and was a lot smoother.

Looks like a pretty cool track (lots of trees to hit though!) and the engine sounds good too. Nice driving.
I'm doing my 22nd, 23rd, and 24th motorcycle trackdays (since 4 July, 2008) this coming weekend at VIR (South and North). One of these days I'll have to get a camera.
Quote from amp88 :lots of trees to hit though!

Yeah, as far as run-off goes, there's barely any - it's either trees or slopes, neither is good, not a lot of room for error, but I guess it heightens the experience.
man that track looks fun i wish i could do that track in my car :P

though non of the corners really looked fast pace
