Hi!

I have LFS installed on an other partition. I either boot XP or Vista and was able to the same LFS installation with both systems to have the same settings etc.

Now I got a new G25 and it was the first time I played LFS under Vista. After installing the wheel I had to unlock LFS.

Then I discovered some problems with the FFB under Vista and started LFS under XP (the 1st time with the G25) - and I had to unlock again...

Does a new wheel require a unlock of LFS or was this requirement due to the Vista/XP combination?

It's due to the XP/Vista thing.

I could swear that I used it on both systems before with only unlocking each once...

But well... there seems to be a problem with Logitech wheels, Vista and LFS... So I guess I will stay at XP.

It's a common issue that switching OSs locks LFS again
