Exactly, I know Too bad it's so difficult to do and almost no one is noticing it anyway... I'm still driving around with Heidfelds helmet although I promised myself to change it to Robert Doornbos for a long time.
Maybe some skinners can do it together? I start with Doornbos and Albers then
LfS is absolutly the fastest loading game ever now... nice touch of the file associations, any chance it can be a button to let it do (like Winamp or Mediaplayer Classic)
I love to make a pitstop BUT: sometimes I'm not aware when I joined a race I had to pitstop and I really don't know I had to.. is it just I missed it somewhere or can a message on the screen help ppl like me? Also a pitstop in a 10 lap race is a little overdone, maybe in races of 20+ laps.
I hate rolling text along my screen. Make it an RSS feed of it instead and download/make your own reader, there are plenty which make a ticker of the feed.
But please don't add a ticker to the site at the moment most (big) sites removed it (CNN also from tvscreen)
after some research I think the lights on the Logitech Formula Force just can't be controlled. Left LED is when there's power and right LED is when USB is connected so I think the program won't work at all.
Thanks to Kegetys anyway, let's hope future racesteers will have configurable LED's.
Anyone saw the screens of Nordschleife in nKpro already? The textures look amazing and it's not these are very hires... just add some effects (bumpmapping) and to me it looks fantastic
too bad I can't figure out why it's not working with correct HID device ID... do you need any more info kegetys to let it work on Logitech Formula Force (with ff). I can't imagine it's not working cos it's using same drivers as Momo.
I can understand LfS wants to provide a big gamers market but isn't it possible to scale down Dx9 graphics like I see in Call of Duty 2 and NfW:MW? There's an option in the menu to switch DirectX version.
I just hope LfS will be up to date for graphics one day... for now I think when LfS S3 is developed with DirectX 9 we can use Windows Vista and Dx10.
By the way: I agree on the quote "It MUST be optimised as a racing simulator, not a screen shot generator."
