well i played lfs for around 2 years using one... untill last spring when i bought a G25... using a pad or anything else except a FFB wheel to drive lfs is B-O-R-I-N-G...

but that's just my opinion anyway... the pad itself is good.. at least for the price, i suggest you go to the "others" (or what ever it's called) section in the lfs options and put the "analog steering smoothness" (my lfs is in finnish so i can't tell you what exactly it's called in english) to something between 0.80 and 0.95 then you just need to learn not to steer too much to save time and tires.. have fun

the physics in the game are great.... in the meaning of breakable stuff etc...

cars move like trains... it's basically just like walking fast inside a steel box.. = the driving phyics are even worse than in crysis

otherwise it's a great game... the graphics/physics/performance ratio is incredibly good

well before i got my G25 i used a gamepad... i did try drifting with kb and it during the time i was waiting for the new G25... but it's SO BORING... it doesn't feel like anything.. i hate using something else than a wheel in lfs even though i can. there's just no feel without a ffb wheel imho..

Yea i know, it kinda is our fault.. andy doesn't really care about ds atm...

but it was kinda hard to keep any activity going when you can't play lfs yourself.. (still, my G25 was broken and i needed to wait a month for a new one)

A requirement for joining DS is 6 months of lfs experience...

Also, we're not currently taking in new members... i think we'll start doing that again soon.. but first we need to sort out this mess... so that we know who's still in and who's not

I guess i should write a lil update here... a bit late though



So uhh yea... Vellu, Aatu, V3NOMOUS has left the team... i've got no freaking idea about this guy called "office"... and i don't know if Mason, Alex, or Kyuubi are in anymore...

So yea... The members who are still in for sure are Andy, Myself and Pringels... Incase you're reading this and you are a current/former DS member i'd be glad if you'd clarify things a bit


(why i or andy don't know theese things is cos I had almost a one month break from lfs cos of my broken G25 and andy is busy with real life stuff)

like if you don't need precision and skill to do simracing... he's never tried anything more realistic than pgr then

there's also the thing that watching simracing from the side actually IS interesting.. unlike looking at a freakin fps game -.- i still want to punch that guy.. lol

I think the XRR is sooo much easier to drive than the FZR... you can really push it to the limit.. the FZR keeps sliding all over the place

I'm suprized to see such a small amount of people that agrees with me.. almost everyone else thinks the FZ is much easier to drive
