I actually have deactivated aero, but I can play in window mode if the window is no larger than 75% of the screen. If the window is bigger than about 75% the FPS drops very much. I do not have any icons on my desktop either.
I am trying to make a kind of a corner of a garage in blender, but I cant get the textures right. They only get twisted or stretched. How do I insert a brick wall texture without strech?
I have a problem with Vista 64bit and as far as I can tell my friend with his 32bit Vista has the same problem.
So here it is: We do experience a huge FPS drop when the game runs in a window that fills the whole screen. When the window is resized to about 75% the FPS goes up by about 50-75%. If explorer.exe is shutdown the FPS goes up even 50% more in the windowed mode and about 25% in the fullscreen mode.
I can not remember to have these problems before. It also is a bit of a problem since i run a dual monitor configuration. Hope this helps.
I got the rims to look very good, but I really need the textures to fit right so I can actually see the brake disc. I also made a little bit bigger rear wing.
I got so many questions, but I will try to solve them myself just as with the car lowering.
Thank you very much for this kit. I have done this from scratch before, but soon after my first render I got a HD crash and lost everything. Thanks once again.
Edit: Could someone describe how to make the new rims smaller? I imported some new rims but I can`t seem to make them smaller in any way. Got them from here
Edit 2: I did make it in the end... I just had to read back and forth in the thread and I got my answers. The only problem now is that I can`t get the textures to work properly on the rims so I just made a grey 500x500 tga file in photoshop for the rim and a 500x500 red image for the brake calipper.
I extracted the archive to the LFS folder and I did put in that d3d8.dll file. I did make the shortcut mod and pressed delete ingame, but nothing happens ? What am I doing wrong?
I FOUND OUT! RUN LFS.EXE AS ADMINISTRATOR IN VISTA!
I have had the Logitech Chillstream for about half a year now and I have looked all over the internet for a program that could split the triger axis into two separate axis. I really want this because I like to do burnouts and idiot-drifting
Anyone knows about a program that could do exactly this?
