Shikane Drifters is now Officially in S2. Almost all of our members has had S2 but we mainly drifted with the demo drift scene, but since the new patch we have moved in fully into S2. I also upgraded our 500servers service to 25 slots to accommodate our number of drivers for team meets and also a bigger group of people for quick, fun, regular drift sessions. We also moved our home track from the Blackwood GP Reverse track to the South City Chicane Route, or as we like to call it, the South City "Shikane" Route. It seemed such a fitting track for our team so we went with that. Anyways feel free to stop by and drift, talk, chill, etc. with us. Bring a good attitude and respect to us and the other drivers in the server and we guarantee we will do the same to you. Anyways, Happy Holidays to you all

I started a poll to see if adding a car that was setup for drifter that allowed big steering lock etc would stop the fights but no. Drifters were voting no and then saying it was not needed if all the cars in LFS were changed as they wanted.

None of you appear to get it...JUST STOP FFS.

erm... to let you know i wasnt complaining about anything... i was just asking him to explain how drifting is a side effect of the lfs physics lol... i actually like the list of cars and tracks and im not for increasing the maximum lock or adding an extra drift car... i understand fully that this is a racing sim first, you woulda known that if you read my other posts i was just merely asking how its a side effect which doesn't make any sense at all... and i never said drifting is racing xD they're totally different... i do both but i mainly drift instead of race

agreed... he never said anything about everyone has to race instead of drift... he's just stating that this game is more biased to racers than drifters because its a racing simulator first not a drifting simulator... unless scawen makes this game neutral and have all the cars become upgradeable and tweaked to whichever style of driving you want, but until then it's gonna be biased towards racers regardless of what anyone says(btw i don't see this happening at all, unless he can make it so its realistic and not over the top performance upgrading)...

oh and i don't like drifting with the xrg just coz i think it's ugly :P... yes... i'm shallow...

Clutch heat exists in real life too, its simply avoided by taking the foot from the gas pedal while changing gears.

IMHO, all new updates should stay(Clutch Heat, Real redlines, etc.) because it makes LFS much more realistic, and more fun. I enjoy LFS more than before, because of those new challenges to save the clutch and tires :P

And tyre heats too fast... hmm... I suppose they heat as fast as in real life now.

Remember kids, LFS stands for Live For Speed, which is one of the most realistic racing simulators ever made.

"You all are noobs, Scawen won't allow unlimited rpm and invincible clutch for drifters. If you can't drift with these changes, just stop drifting. I drift often and I'm able to drift with these changes so I wont stop drifting on pro drifting servers! The only thing I hate is that the tires overheat too fast but I have to deal with it!"
