I just did two single player races with about 5 AI. i won both races by quite a way (as you can guess). But when i decided to watch the SPR (which had been auto-saved) the names of the drivers had been jumbled up. MY car was now AI5 and i was named over one of the AI. I will attach the replays. Any idea what has happened?

I found clipping occured when i got the sound "right" too. its nice to have a mess around. nice to see the effort put in to

an option to change sets when switching drivers would be good. as a keyboard user its hard to just swap drivers as a lot of the fundamental parts of the handling/setup need to be different.

try putting just one object on a custom layout and see if it stil crashes, it may be the amount of objects you're using?

Not 100% sure if it is a bug or just something not implemented, but as its to do with sound i was guessing its either to do with the new sound "system" on U30 or i guess could be placed in easy (i await getting told off for saying that) but.....When in 1st gear 2nd gear etc etc and you spin the wheels you hear the revs rise and the sound of the wheels spinning. If you try the same in reverse gear, there is no wheel spin sound, just the sound of the revs. I found this rather strange, is it a bug? Or just something thats not completed yet? I cant really remember if it happened pre-U30, but i thought it might be worth adding as the sound has been tweaked recently.

Hmm, i was just playing GT4 about an hour ago.
It isnt really tire physics related, but get him to send a very front heavy car over a jump, front stays up in the air even when the rear of the car hits the jump. it doesnt change attack angle at all.
also, maybe, tune one of the GT4 cars to the same spec as say, the XFR (i used a polo gti :shrug and compare the two games side by side for feel, and physics, it REALLY shows how much more superior LFS is!

I'm not sure if its always been the case or new with the U30 patch, thought it best to post it here. But something i noticed today whilst racing in the FOX. When in 1st gear 2nd gear 3rd gear etc. you can hear the wheel spin, but if you put it in reverse and spin the wheels there is no wheel spin noise, just the higher revs of the engine. Seems a bit odd as it should make sounds in both directions
Anyone else get this problem? (I DID search the forum first to see if this had been posted before and found nothing.)

I seem to enjoy keyboard, its more fulfilling when you thrash a bunch of wheel users.

my wrist always hurts using keys after an hour, my hand is usually turned up at a 70 degree angle, or as far as itll go, it really can be a pain, but hey, whatever makes me faster has to be done illepall i dont have room or money for a wheel, ill be around on keys for a while, ill end up the last keys player with an S2 license!
