Shame there weren't any moar drivers tonight but oh well, of course Kings' had to be dumb enough to book their GT3 cup on the same weekend as this race even when Deko had booked the date earlier than them apparently. Typical
Why not, road cars always include close wheel to wheel racing and definitely would be nice to have some road car leagues. Have u made any plans yet, like would there be a race with every road car or would it be STD, TBO etc in one race? Open configs or not? Any clue about race lenghts? Sprint&main (with possible reverse grid, i.e. top 8)? But yeh as said, I'd be up for this kind of series!
In other words you already did a lap that's .2 faster or smth in HL mode ay?
And yea ur post pretty much included the information in a nutshell, tho u forgot about SO5 where the WR's are really close to each other but having said that, it's just a 1 track and that's not really enough to choose XFG I believe.
Well, it could be competitive in some races, but the problem is that even if there are a few tracks where the cars are somehow balanced equally, there are some tracks where XRG just destroys XFG (i.e. BL1) so yeah, it'll prolly be an XRG festival unless andro decides to gief it a ballast or smth.
Thanks to the organisers, top job! Also grats for winners and podium finishers in both classes. Our race went quite meh, Isaac did awesome job for the first 2 hours and then I got in the car and had Jesse Nieminen in my mirror for almost whole of my stint (and yes, I did shit my pants when I saw him for the first time in my mirror ), awesome battle with him, thanks for that! After that everything kinda went backwards for us with a timeout and zillion crashes but eventually managed to get a decent 3rd place in the competitive GT2 class.
And yes I totally agree with Morgan, gief us a new season of MoE!
• The correct lap (from your team's point of view): Lap 220 of the race
• The cars (/teams) involved: 59, 33
• The lap/sector/time: Lap 220, Sector 2, around 9h 53mins
• And a short description from your point of view.
Car 33 drove into the side of Isaac in the fast left hander in SC2 even when Isaac left room for Mr. Green and this whole incident cost us 10 seconds and a damaged car.
• The correct lap (from your team's point of view): Lap 187 or 188 (no idea about our lap cos we timed out earlier) in the whole race
• The cars (/teams) involved: 59, 20
• The lap/sector/time: Lap 188, Sector 3 hairpin exit, time around 8h 26 minutes
• And a short description from your point of view.
Car 20 pushed Tommy off the road on exit and obviously didnt leave any room.
Include the following in your protest:
• The correct lap (from your team's point of view): 97, 103th lap of the race
• The cars (/teams) involved: 59, 97
• The lap/sector/time: Lap 97, Sector 2, time around 4h 38minutes
• And a short description from your point of view.
GTS leaves no room at all when Isaac is lapping them and they just completely rape our car, tyres fooked etc. Absolutely retarded by GTS and we have no idea what he was thinking when he did that.
What's the point of this poll then? Your suggestion is the one with the least votes.
Obviously you're the one who organises the league but it's not exactly smart to choose the option that people don't want. Especially when the car in this league is FZ5 which probably means the field won't be massive, I would personally go for the suggestions which people have voted the most in.
Phil, me and Isaac were checking the situation and he didnt see the RSC on his left because of the FOV he uses. My FOV is higher than his (about 72) and even I wouldnt have had a chance to see the RSC car on the left. Ofcourse one could say that "why didnt he look on the left then?" but anyone who has any experience would know that it's easier said than done, especially when Isaac could've hit the car infront and cause a possible lag crash.
Not gonna work cos timezones. American (at least west coast) people are still in work/school when it's already late night in for example eastern Europe.
1. If you worked so hard for the time, then surely you should be able to pull a time that is very close to the time you already have done.
2. It's oval, why do you care so much about your prequal time? As we've seen before in NDR oval events, it doesn't really matter where you start from, cos the opportunity of winning the actual race is pretty much the same whether you start from P5 or P25 imo.
I wouldn't mind seeing more leagues coming back, but if it's going to be iTCC, then I gotta agree with Phil. Admittedly FX3 gives some good and close racing but last season's last race kinda showed that there isn't enough interest to keep full grid through the whole season. As far as I know it's been quite a while since the last LFSCART Light season and that's why I would like to see it coming back.
