Qualified 5th with a 2.40.xx and was satisfied about it.
Slept a little at the rolling start (expected a /RCM) but kept 5th position. After an incident lap 1 in the chikane beteewn NIKI and Di Fabio I found myself on 3th position. The two XRR´s in front of me were slowly pulling away and and Di Fabio´s FZR got closer to me on 4th position. For a long time it looked to me like in the front of the field one was fighting for 1st place and 3th place but Di Fabio, close behind me, did a minor mistake about lap 10 and once more saw myself 5 secs. in front of him. After my pitstop lap 17 I as well realized some minor engine damage on my FXR ,3-4 km/h lower top speed. I´ve checked the replay and have no idea why this had to happen.
As a result my laptimes dropped from about 2.41-2.42 mins. down to 2.42-2.43 mins. for the last 18 laps whicj IMO cost me a possible second place.
Di Fabio once more closed the gap, overtook me, but unfortunately for him he pitspeeded, got a DT and at the end I finished 3th place.
Victory to Jonesy, once more great driving. Very good pit strategy, race and second place to DeFine. Congratulations.
3 month here. Then I got an interest in joining leagues, having an own server and organise private races against other teams. TDRT can offer you a trial membership.
If you really want to balance, I suggest some more balancing of the GT1´s. It´s not about winning but about being fair to everybody and not just the choosen few...
MoE didn´t have a closer look on the GT1 FXR as only 1 team picked this car (but got the choice to change car ).
Since our last LeMansLeague race the faster XRR have become 10kg lighter then the FXR. XRR is about 1-2 secs. faster then the FXR at AS5. The GT1 FZR´s are faster then ever before (therefore the MoE +15kg).
What about the apxm. 30% of the GT1 field driving the FXR? (Westhill 3 out of 9 drove FXR, right now 3 out of 8 will drive FXR). I´m getting the feeling that nobody really wants to talk about this "Enfant Terrible" car.
Mayby you should consider to follow MoE´s giudelines once more and give the FXR drivers the choice to change car. Not sure they will, but at least they´d have the chance...
EDIT by Cawwa: I moved it here. Better to discuss the present season here
Anyways, I think we´d be interested but we need some more information.
Car change during season allowed? Any restrictions on the different cars? Driver list needed? Some more rules in general mayby?
After some time of trialmembership we´re very happy and proud to be able to announce and welcome another two fast and experienced racers to our team.
[TDRT]A.Thorup (Flaffy) adds another Danish driver to our team. He´s aged 27 years and won his first LFS race back in year 2003. He loves endurance races and will be a valuable asset for various endurance races and leagues to come. He has some impressive stats with 50% of his finished races ending as podium finishes. He participates in the GTTC league for TDRT already.
[TDRT]J.Rantajoki (Drunken Predator) is from Finland and 26 years old.He has a lot of sim racing experience:GPL, GTL, rFactor, GTR, GTR2, Race07.In no time he managed to get himself some impressing LFS race stats, here especially on the CTRA servers: Wins:59,Podiums:144,Finishes: 221.As he will not participate in the GTTC league races this year you will hopefully meet him the IGTC season 2008 racing for our team.
Welcome to the team, we look forward to racing with you.
"take vote to kick/ban off" << No please and thanks for this advice. Been there, never came back to these server...
All of sudden I got in contact with one of these guys. He appologized and he gave me his explanation: "They were making a team movie". I´ll buy it. None of them had a lot of milage either... Chapter closed. But I´ll send you the name/team name in a PM,[The.O.C] LaughingGravy.
Please delete/moddify your posts 17,18 and 22. No need to tell people how to do it.
In fact the replay og this thread shows the FM guy having 3 AI´s running. I wonder if these botts gives somebody LFSstats milage and mayby podium finishes as well...
