Took me around a week to get my drifting back to how I was in S1, It just takes practise, alot of it.

Formula XR is my choice! I love Formula cars, I love their speed and their amazing handling, and the Formula XR has to be one of the best of the sim-world's Formula's :P

But it's always fun racing(more like derby) the UF1000 around Auto-X.

I use a Racepro car racing seat. Cost me $500NZD, i'm sure you could get one second hand for a quarter the price.

Yep, the made-up tracks are one of the best things about LFS, along with the made-up cars.

Hehe, It is best to not argue about these things. Alot of racers are against drifters, for reasons they might have seen one drifter on a race server.
Which even real drifters don't like, but we can't stop it. Just go with the flow.
I am a racer and I also drift when I am bored, it's a fun thing to do.

I use DFP too. Excellent wheel after practise, and it is a little small, but that doesn't stop it from being a good wheel.
The closest i've found to average size real car wheel was a shitty $40 non-ffb wheel.

I think S1 helped me with my real driving. I started playing S1 when I was 14, and I went for my drivers license when I was 15 and passed with good comments from the tester. I'm 16 now.

I must say, LFS has helped me find my career choice. Before I played LFS, I wanted to sit on the couch all day, watching motorsport, now I want to be the one people are watching Which has inspired me to get into the motorsport field, and i'm going to Rally School next month, which if I pass I come out with my Targa, Rally and Track license.

Yep. Not a huge fan of the E36's after driving them.

I'd love to be able to hear air horns blasting when you go speeding down the straights, and also when you start the cars, I wana hear a car starting, cranking over, etc.

The pit speed limit is 80 km/h(not sure in miles) so why do I get a penalty for going 80?
I wouldn't get a speeding ticket for doing 100km/h(speed limit on highways here)
