Fair enough but it is more than obvious that the pro racing scene is gone pretty much forever. The overall skill level is pretty low and the online scene is dominated by cruise servers. Reminds me of CS 1.6, it just kinda exists. Is it a bad thing? Oof, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Racing wise, still feels the same as it was in 2014. Could pretty much get within +0.4 within most WRs with XRR, still can. Too bad you can't extract setups like you could back then :kappa:. Oh well, at least you can use ridiculously low steering rotation (e.g. 240) and ~ 56 FOV to have an edge over other racers : )
Should point out more important things than telling how skins might not look as good as you want them online. Pioneer pretty much said it above. It's not that the people who might be against the way things have turned out for LFS, it's just sad to see how things have changed, or not changed since 2009.
:/
Get a job and LFS won't be so expensive. The amount of content you get at the current price is fair. If you don't think it's appropriate, don't buy it. There will be other people who will support LFS, dont worry
if you are a casual racer then yes, if that's what floats your boat that's cool. But when it comes to those who are looking to invest in a simracing game right now, how many of them would consider LFS? It's a new era and LFS doesn't exactly fit in today's era, it's just not up there anymore. With that being said, the game is still fun and I have nothing but the best memories from this game. I have nothing but appreciation and respect to the people who have invested their time into this game but you should come to realize that this back and forth confrontation about this topic is going nowhere, just like this game at the moment.
You can't argue with statistics. Just look at the amount of people playing AC / iR daily + the variety they offer. It's not about moaning, it's about having an actual reality check and realizing that you might as well as put up with what you get here or you can broaden your experience and try multiple things. Don't be so old
because lfs in its current state doesnt appear to be any serious, a bit like a historic piece. so why would most even bother - most lfs drift servers have turned from good to toxic, most cruise servers have turned from fun to ego-fest all around and race servers have turned from good to having just cruisers participate on them without having any actual skill
-8 degree C the other day, next day it was raining and +1 degree C, aaaand on the day after that it was -5 degree C once again..gotta love the black ice. Literally every road was covered in ice but now it's a lovely +3 now, snow is melting away and I can finally get across my yard without getting lost in the snow that's up to my crotch
obviously things arent the same. Some of the really good racers from LFS race now in different games where they actually can put their skill to good use. Here tho? Well, the game has simply gone downhill. Is it a bad thing? No. Things change. The game doesn't offer the same amount of excitement as it used to
Been away for 8 months on LFSforums and I am glad to see that the game is changing. Keep up the great work, I am genuinely happy about the progress. Even though it will never be like it used to be back when NDR and Genuine Racing held races, it would be definitely nice to hop on LFS one day once we will be able to say that a new era has started to take its shape.
Even if I was one of the individuals who hated on the progress of LFS, I am truly happy to see that you guys are still working on the game. It just shows that you are really passionate about what you do, even if it doesn't match the standards of today's gaming industry (which is what I appreciate because it keeps the true and loyal people in this community still around and cheering you on for what you are trying to achieve).
