It WILL change things. The reason demo'ers act so ****ed up, is because they see LFS as a walk over. They do wtf they want, And never lose the demo. Whilst it makes LFS look good to new commers, It looks crap in the long run. On that front, I give this thread a big +1.

Scawen, You may have thought of this already..but, Could it be that the request is taking too long due to so many skins being on lfsw and then lfs is just assuming that the skin doesnt exist. It also could even be that peoples connections arnt that good, and the request is (as said above) taking too long. I have noticed massive groth in lfs and also, Massive groth in lfs skin useage. . I know its a long shot, but still a possibility surely?

You are acutally wrong. Thats not a hack. Its a bug in LFS. All that guy has done, Is broke his patch Y installation. Making the old BL1 track files still intact. When he drives online, LFS trys to keep him in your track path(new BL1), So it looks really stange.

Judging by the replay, Hes spinning up the wheels under braking. People used to do it with earlier patchs, Only they would spin up the handbrake. Old news...

TBH, Making a contest in a sence, isnt fair. It makes people rush and ruin stuff just to get it done. Qute possibly make people annoyed with other people, because someone wins and not the other. On that front. You can count me out. If you want to say "Will someone make me X program for X money" then i'll happyly help you, but I wont contest my skills as a programmer. Sorry.

You dont need to. InSim can accept 8 connections on 1 port.

Burnsy, There is a few issues there, you could fix with a few simple checks. That said, InSim still wont be best to create someting like this. Sadly, i dont think InSim will get anymore attention in S2...
