There is kind of a point. People may want a custom look to their cars on their screen, there was tons of things like this on the old forum

The screen may be limiting the res. My 17" TFT can only do a MAX of 1280 X 1024, and i know most 19" TFT's can only do 1280 X 1024.

Check the MAX resolution of the monitor, and is the dual core fast???

Driving force Pro. Good for building muscles on Black Wood Rally X, with FF set to 80%, quite hard to keep turning it back and fourth for 10 laps!!

how do you create 3 folders for the mods?? and how do you change them around so you can go on different tracks??

ie one day normal blackwood, the next min snow??

Thought i Dump vavle was when you changed gear and it made the "tshhh " sound. (maybe im wrong) Also, cant you hear it when you rev your car high, then let of the revs??


Also, i thought this because my friends friend has a car, and he calls him cr*p at changing gears, as he cannot beat the dump vavle.

Wondering i anyone can help me. I have two monitors both plugged in, and the most i can do is strech the desktop accorss them. This means, i cannot drag anything onto the second monitor to use it.

Tried to install latest drivers, Catalyst 5.9 Windows XP, install them and i get a message - something about "unable to Initialize, then a load of random numbers.

Please could someone help me, as i would like to use the two screens for surfing two different webpages side by side, and watching tv on one, and LFS on the other.

Also, can i use the screen as two seprate areas, ie have icons on both screens. Ie have Internet on screen two, and it will launch on screen two.

i would love to see cars on LFS with fully auto boxes ie with kickdowns. No game i can recall ever has features this. I think it would be quite good for "Auto only races". I do use manual all the time, but would be quite fun to drive a car around, then put your foot down and rooooor, a sound of a engine screwing itself.

Please someone make a auto box with kickdown, or lets see a patch with it

This is quite unreal. In real life, we cant really mod the limiter, without messing with the ECU, or approiate car part (unsure what controls the rev limiters).


I think there should be a mod, to change the rev limiter thou

Like i said, most cars still have power right up to the redline, but all the power curves of these cars stop way before red. Cant remember any off the top of my head, as im not at home at the moment.

ive been asking and asking for a "fully auto box". With kickdowns etc. Think with a fully auto box it would be quite fun to drive, but i must admit, i drive manual all the time, but a fully auto box would be good

why do all the cars run out out power thou?? I cant think of many cars, which run out of "steam" by time they get to redline. SOme of the cars in S2 run out nearly 3000 rpm before

True. Also, the specs in LFS are wrong, if we are ment to have the 2005 RAC.


Im not fussed, i used to like the RAC, but the constant spinning when entering corners has tunred me away, as this is one of the only cars i cannot handle, and its only a small engine,

Hmm, SPecs are a lot greater thou. Athlon 64 3200+, 1024 MB , Ati Radeon 9250SE (around £60 over in UK now) Windows XP Pro

Only problem is, for some reason, on a full field now, i only get around 25FPS. Unsure why it has dropped, but oh well!!

Ill also let you know how it runs when ive got my other monitor linked to it (Dual screening!!),
