When LFS is in window mode (I mean, it is supposed to be), the window does not become visible. The windows upper bar is visible for a short while, then it disappears. LFS.exe is shown in task manager
If full screen is used, LFS appears normally. However, when switching to windowed, it disappears, but this time stays visible in the task bar. Clicking on it appears to activate it, but LFS doesn't appear (like it's minimized). Right clicking and choosing maximize makes the window appear and from there on everything is normal.
I have been thinking and thinking about how to make crashes less forgiving. And somehow this idea hasn't come up until today.
There should be a (host) option to disable repairing. Meaning that if you crash hard and get suspension damage, your race is over. This would be fairly easy to implement too.
Wow.. If you are someone who likes real movies (e.g have a brain and like stuff other than stuff starring Pitt or directed by Spielberg) then you should watch this. Very highly recommended. And I don't say this often.
The blue flag is not important in this case. Karu rejoined the track in front of Runas who was unfortunately not shown a yellow flag, making him enter the turn without any extra caution. He also thought that Karu was not going to rejoin and applied full throttle hitting Karu. If a yellow flag had been shown, this would not have happened. So we should accuse the marshals and regard this as an incident, while possibly giving Karu a warning to be more careful while rejoining.
Lap/sector/time: 21/3/0:40:15
Cars involved: LT - M.Runas (MuderGO[LT]), EE - U.Karu (UrMo20)
Description of incident: Causing of accident by M.Runas, applying full throttle despite having clear view of a (slower) car in front of him.

I would also like to comment the penalty propositions by AndRo. (A.Pavars if you prefer)
You clearly state that the "victim" should have given him more space and state that he 'COULD HAVE' braked earlier and then propose a 20s penalty. Something does not match here.
M.Licis did not cause a crash. He entered the turn and kept his line, while LT - J.Marcinkevičius (jurisltu) drove into him causing the crash.
A blue flag doesn't mean slowing down waiting for the faster car to pass. It means being in the faster car's way for as short a time as possible. M.Licis planned to let him past on the next straight, when the lapper would have been much closer and overtaking would have been possible. M.Licis did not leap out of the way at all costs, but merely kept driving with his own speed while waiting for LT - J.Marcinkevičius (jurisltu) to catch up with him on the next straight where he would have let him past.
We currently have an audio system consisting of Nvidia nForce onboard sound card -> 3.5 mm plug -> ~4m cable -> RCA plug -> Yamaha Amplifier/Receiver.
Problem is, the quality is somewhat bad because of the long cable and the sound card isn't that good in the first place. I'm looking for a way to improve it. The only cheap (think under 100 USD) way to improve it as I see it is getting an USB sound card and connecting the yamaha to it with a shorter cable. The sound card also has coax SPDIF output btw.
So, what would be the best way of improving the sound and what hardware would be needed (as specific as possible please).
This has happened a few times before and gone back to normal after a while. Unfortunately I do not have access to the hosting admin panel so I cannot tell you anything or repair it myself. I am currently doing a backup of all the files, but the SQL database part I can't backup unfortunately.
Heya there,
from my replay it definately wasn't just the lag, we were touching already in a very critical situation and then some lag happened. You should have left more room and I should have started braking a little earlier but well these things always happen and you were faster anyway with me holding you up (intentionally to let Tšubenko get away )
Unfortunately I lost some places after the spin and the repair also took a lot of time so I ended up last.
But despite the incident I still think my race was pretty good and all the racers were somewhat skilled.
Now I'll be left waiting for Round 7 when we get the second interesting combination with a good car.
See you all at the horrible GTR@AS3!
EDIT: One addition bad thing - horn spamming should be forbidden as it is very annoying. A quick honk to let someone less experienced know you are next to them should be allowed but not holding the button down when you want to pass someone be it a lapped car or not.
How come it is possible to replace someone on the grid?
If someone is replaced then the replacing person should be placed at the end of the grid unless they also took part in the quali in which case they should be placed in their corresponding place.
Scirocco will be released
Rockingham will be released
New tyre physics will be released
RAC interior/model reworked (Plus possibly some other cars we are not aware of)
New car
I've been thinking of posting this suggestion for a while.
I really enjoy using AIRIO's Pit Board function and then using the SHIFT-F mode. All works very well, however, the pit board does not come up in the finish, which causes me to be unsure - have I finished or not. In fact, I once even eased on the throttle after crossing the line, causing a massive crash and then find out that the race had not yet ended.
Anyway, my suggestion is popping the pit board up after the finish and showing something like FINISH or a chequered thing.
Watched The Lineup yesterday. All I can say is, Don Siegel really had it. Excellent movie filmed on location [not in the studio] which looked really good after watching all these blockbusters. Highly recommended film-noir.
Oh, and for a blockbuster, also watched the UK version of Gaslight. A thriller completely up to Hitchcock's standards. In fact, the plot reminded me of the style of 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents'. Highly recommended.
I wonder if I should go watch Avatar in the cinema...
