Is it possible to display the absolute race time rather than a +18 seconds or +1 lap?
We're running a league over two servers, so it would be nice to display the full race time. Likewise for racers who crash out on a certain lap, it would be nice to know the time they crashed out.
I've also had dodgy starts since getting my G25, partly my fault and partly LFS. Please Scawen show the correct gear when on the start line. When using a manual shifter the gear display defaults to 1st at the lights. When the lights change to green, it's only then do you see the real gear, often neutral, sometimes 3rd or 2nd. Then what follows is carnage as other racers plough into the back of me
I've had a look through the thread and I don't think anyone else has commented on the fact that if the map is set to right, it is not visible during qualifying. It's fine for the race, but as soon as the qualifying positions are shown it's not visible. You have to set it to left to view it. The map is useful when looking for a clear area to do a good lap
Just double checked - the map is shown on the right, until someone completes a lap, the qualifying time is then shown and the map disappears.
I use the hosts action to generate a server status table. With patch U32 I've noticed the the patch version number is missing from the data so all subsequent bytes are out by one. This has generated some wierd output I pressume this is a stats issue and not a patch issue.
I just wanted to pop back into this thread and thank Victor for sorting out the problem with the proxy IP address so quickly. You work is very much appreciated
If anyone is interested, I wrote the following page a couple of weeks ago, and have been tweaking it since. It compares the online lap times of the team I'm in and highlightes the best lap time.
My system is locked up tighter that a virgin's chastity belt. I get thousands of portscans per day, a few more won't hurt - unless it saturates my connection
Unfortunately, I'm using an ISP which uses cache/proxy servers so binding an IP address does not work. Is it possible for the script your side to check the IP address against both REMOTE_ADDR and HTTP_FORWARDED_FOR?
It's not the same for ATI. I have to manually change the settings everytime I start the game. You can setup profiles, and the profiles can run a exe, but the settings remain until you change the profile, even after exiting the game. I'll be investing in a nVidia card soon, don't know why I ever changed to ATI
It would be alot easier if AA & AF were included ingame
