Is it possible to display the absolute race time rather than a +18 seconds or +1 lap?

We're running a league over two servers, so it would be nice to display the full race time. Likewise for racers who crash out on a certain lap, it would be nice to know the time they crashed out.

Hi Victor,

The FBM car tag isn't displayed in the PB output. Where the car should be it's blank!

The last couple of line from my PB PubStats output shows:

001 FXO 88510 5
500 XFR 106790 16
151 66980 41 <---- this should be '151 FBM 66980 41'

Not really a patch issue but a PubStats issue. The FBM isn't displayed in the PB output. Where the car should be it's blank!

I've also had dodgy starts since getting my G25, partly my fault and partly LFS. Please Scawen show the correct gear when on the start line. When using a manual shifter the gear display defaults to 1st at the lights. When the lights change to green, it's only then do you see the real gear, often neutral, sometimes 3rd or 2nd. Then what follows is carnage as other racers plough into the back of me

Hi Scawen,

I've had a look through the thread and I don't think anyone else has commented on the fact that if the map is set to right, it is not visible during qualifying. It's fine for the race, but as soon as the qualifying positions are shown it's not visible. You have to set it to left to view it. The map is useful when looking for a clear area to do a good lap

Just double checked - the map is shown on the right, until someone completes a lap, the qualifying time is then shown and the map disappears.

Thanks Victor, that works perfectly now

Issue since patch U32

Hi Victor,

I use the hosts action to generate a server status table. With patch U32 I've noticed the the patch version number is missing from the data so all subsequent bytes are out by one. This has generated some wierd output I pressume this is a stats issue and not a patch issue.

Patch U32, byte 32 onwards (TML TCRM)
02 05 55 00 01 01 0D

Patch U30, byte 32 onwards (TMLT TCRM)
02 05 55 1E 20 01 01 0D

Do the stats not like hex 20

I just wanted to pop back into this thread and thank Victor for sorting out the problem with the proxy IP address so quickly. You work is very much appreciated

If anyone is interested, I wrote the following page a couple of weeks ago, and have been tweaking it since. It compares the online lap times of the team I'm in and highlightes the best lap time.

PS I didn't design the site!

Quote from Dygear :It's a BAD idea to post your ip address on a public forum.

You're just paranoid!

My system is locked up tighter that a virgin's chastity belt. I get thousands of portscans per day, a few more won't hurt - unless it saturates my connection

Quote from Victor :can you check this script and tell me if it gives the correct ip? (local ip)

http://www.lfsworld.net/pubstat/ip_check.php

Hopefully your local ip : 82.*.*.195

Quote :NEW : User-identification (login / Ident-Key)
--------------------------------------------
The option to identify yourself has been introduced. For now this will be voluntary, but in the future it will become obligatory for logging purposes, so you best start using this option right now.
There are two ways to identify yourself:
1) Using an Ident-Key which you can generate on behalf of your account on the LFS World settings pages
You can feed an Ident-Key to the pubstat script via the following variable:
&idk=<Ident-Key>

If you bind an IP address to an Ident-Key, then pubstat will make sure that only that IP address can use that Ident-Key.

Hi Vic,

Loving your work by the way.

Unfortunately, I'm using an ISP which uses cache/proxy servers so binding an IP address does not work. Is it possible for the script your side to check the IP address against both REMOTE_ADDR and HTTP_FORWARDED_FOR?

Quote from DratsaB :I dont know about ATI (but im guessing its similiar), With Nvdia drivers you can set a Profile that relates to a particular .exe (lfs.exe). So every time you start that .exe your gfx settings are changed automatically for that game, when you exit the game your default settings are reverted.

It's not the same for ATI. I have to manually change the settings everytime I start the game. You can setup profiles, and the profiles can run a exe, but the settings remain until you change the profile, even after exiting the game. I'll be investing in a nVidia card soon, don't know why I ever changed to ATI

It would be alot easier if AA & AF were included ingame

(Sorry, I know this is an old thread)
