okay i know what you mean , and i know how you can do it.
but as always with website there are 100 ways to approach this, And you need to find the one that you like.
Way 1:
Work with "div", basically what this means is that you make little pictures form example 3px by 5px and you repeat it every time. (in the comment you will find the idea).
Positive:
- Looks Great
- Many Photoshop / Dreamweaver abilities
Negative:
- Time that taking to make
- Not Compatible to all the browser
- Long loading time
Explanation picture:
Part 1: Left Corner
Part 2: Repeat it 20 time for 100px , repeat it 100 times for 500px, etc
Part 3: Right Corner (made this lined up with part 2 J)
Part 4: Repeat if you want to make it longer

The special "key" from the ctra system wasnt the ranking system, it was the Wrecker / Report system. And that why you cant have that nice races on one of the Semi-Ranked server (what we have out there now).
The problem from the Report system is that you need some group of people that will check all the replays, Reports. and this will take a hell lot of a time.
The Ctra was a great system, and probely still is a great system, but you cant expect from one guy to check all the reports.
So if someone is planning on a new Ctra he need to be damm sure that he got a Big Stable group together to check all the reports!

Some pb.txt problems,
i got some questions, about the output from the pb.txt.
I got some problem with more people driving the same time, on the same day. but it is using a 12 hour format. ( without am / pm)
is there anyway how i can get a 24hour format out of the results.
i will give you some examples about the output.

or will the tyres hold the temp.
In other words good idea good theory, but i am not going to see it working as we like.
remember that a tyre in lfs only can hold 50~80min racing. so when you it doesnt care or you cool them down they will just blow.

Out of Fuel bug,
Ey, i was watching a m8 from me driving in the server and i found out that there is a differance from hearing that the car is out of feul and that the car is Really out of fuel.
I have add a .mpr from what happend:
At 14 min 10sec = spectator out of fuel
At 14 min 17sec = car out of fuel
I found out what the biug is
If you drive you tank empty you can still drive on 0.0% (to drive the last 0.04% out of the tank)
At the moment the car shows he has 0.0% left the spectator his sound turns in to the "no fuel sound".

Well good that you are pointing this out.
This is one of the Rules that has Changed. In the rules is now standing that the former "Pre-Qual" = Real Qual! This means that we are doing this for the race grid.
The question is or we really really can say that the times that are droven on the Qual server(10 days) are fair times for a starting grid.
We from the admin team will have a talk about what we are going to do. Leave it the Real Qual , are make it the Pre-Qual again!
We will keep you guys updated.
