Hi dudes.

As ya already read probably i wanted to do a Swiss Karting Event but since we ain't big country and number of Swiss LFS Players visiting Forum more than 1 time a year is very small.

So i decided to do a European Karting Event. i don't know yet where, probably i'll make a poll about the possibilities. It will take part in Germany or in France (depends on where the number of ppl wanting to join is bigger).

As already mentioned in the Swiss Event thread it will be possible that i'll take up to three guys with me out of Switzerland. (to share costs for the gas and to get some fun on the road :P)

People which are interested please submit here your name. I'll make a list and we will see if we need a own webpage to do it properly etc etc.

The event: There will be teams of three. The Event will start with about 30 minutes of practise per team, after that a 30 minute qualify followed by a 60 minutes race.

There will be trophies for the best three racers and surely for the best three teams.

Date: Somewhere after the EM 2008 (somewhere in July @ Saturday)
Price: Not yet known as we don't know on which track it will take part.

yeah am thinking of doing this. it would be great to have more ppl but at the moment we are stuck with member ins switzerland.

ehm Gekkibi just my 2 cents.... you just did the same some posts above by saiying it LOUD that cruisers cant race. I think it's just FOR FUN as u can play WOW only FOR FUN too.... but nvm

since i'm in the army again i can't work on it atm. but there are some good points like getting a projector instead of three lced widescreenies. I thought about that but since this is just a BETA project. probably if we get positive feedback we will work on a second one.

yeah yeah... owen.... you can code very well you just take commands all over spread in the forum and just put it together to a insim. If you cold code as you said it wouldn't be a problem for ya.

BTW you have now your own layout? or still using ours....

As already mentioned this is a simulator not built for home use. This cockpit will be used at some smaller ccar shows. At home i'll buy an Obutto cockpit as soon as the Europe distribution will started.

Oops forgot to say that i used the USB one and yes the FF worked good!

I had it working on my laptop! I didnt even needed to install drivers from cd! I had the Red-Edition ^^

I' am a secon leutnant in the swiss army. I was for 6 months in Bosnia-Herzigovnia to join the Freedom Forces. We had our fun too but we never injured someone. But i do agree that after some months you get crazy about the things happening around you. People getting killed for no reason (or odd reasons) and then always the fear of mines which will bomb your leg away. It was a hard time but i don't regret it 'cause we helped a lot of people to sruvive.

But I think that what the US Army is doing in Afghanistan and in Iraq is just a shame for all people working for the army and for their country. You should be proud to have the honour to wear the uniform of your country and with this actions you only show how dumb you are. I hope this soldiers will be punished by the government.

they cost me 350€ per seat. But since its something for longer than some months i just want the best so it will be comfortable. We will use this simulator on presentations of Lotus and Caterham Kit cars in Switzerland. (That's why i can buy this expensive stuff) ^^
