Pre-qualifying information for Round 3 has been sent out, meaning the password in the OP is no longer applicable. All drivers have received the password except for the following:

These drivers are being asked to change their account settings so they can receive private messages. Should they not do so for this round they alone will be at fault for not being able to compete in pre-qualifying. Should the same drivers still not be able to receive messages due to incorrect forum settings, they might see themselves removed from the entry list.

1. All car skins must display the required numberboards and mandatory logos in their mandated positions, as well as the provided sunstrip if applicable (only GTR + XFR cars).
1.1. For all GTR, NGT and TBO cars, teams are required to put a numberboard on each side of the car and also the bonnet/hood of the car.
1.2. For the FO8, car numbers must be located on the nose of the car and the rear wing endplates, preferably without the numberboards which are used on the other cars. The mandatory "Genuine Racing" and "QSERVERHOSTING" logos should be placed on the top of the sidepods and both sides the upper rear wing element respectively.
2. Any teams, that use skins which do not comply with rules above will be penalised with a two point penalty for their first violation in an event. Violations in the same event after the first penalty will not be considered.
3. Skins must also be compliant with the skin regulations on LFSWorld.net, meaning that they must not include any nudity, pornographic, racist or any other extremely offensive content. Any driver who's found to be using a skin that's violating these rules will be put on probation for the remainder of the season, or be excluded if necessary.

Note: Drivers with single digit car numbers (number 0 to 9) are not required to use double digit numbers on their numberboards (for example: 1 instead of 01).

Note 2: Skinners are adviced to not downscale the numberboards too much for use on their skins, numbers must be recognisable at first sight.

Note 3: Skins should be posted in 2048x2048 resolution. You may also post them in higher resolutions though.

Located in the skinkit below are the numberboards needed for all tintop cars, as well as the sunstrip for the GTR and XFR cars. The GenR and QServerHosting logos for the FO8 are also included, in both, black and white.

All teams are welcome to apply for a spot in the series. Each team must have at least two drivers, but there is no upper limit.

For now, no team is allowed to enter more than two cars. Should the number of entrants not be sufficient in the run-up to the first round, that limit will be lifted.

The administration reserves itself the right to exclude drivers who have too little experience, use keyboard or are generally not regarded to be at a the level required for organised league racing. Any teams with multiple drivers of a too low level will have their application refused.

Announcing the 2014-2015 New Endurance Challenge!

OVERVIEW

After a year's break the New Endurance Challenge returns for another season with plenty of improvements being made since it last ran in July last year. It might not be as new as it once was, but there is more endurance and maybe even a bit more challenge! There are only four races instead of five and they're spread over 3 months, but apart from the last round all races have been significantly increased in length, with the longest race being eight hours long!
Based on the feedback and impressions we got, we simplified some things. On the organisational side, pre-qualifying will be a thing of the past, with entries now being managed through entry and waiting lists as well as race-by-race confirmations instead. The drivers' championship has also been scrapped, which means that only the teams' championship remains. Though clearly the most noticable difference is the lack of a secondary car class, all teams will all be using the same car class in each race.

All teams are welcome to apply for a spot in the series, there is no limit on how many driver may race for a team, but each team must list at least two drivers on it's application with a maximum of four drivers competing in each race.

If you check the confirmations you will see that only 58 of the pre-qualified drivers who were within 103.5% did actually confirm. The split between grids is 50/50. If Grid 2 is not full, the remaining places there are filled by drivers who either failed to pre-qualify but confirmed in time and after that the ones who failed to confirm on time but pre-qualified. We always have to make sure there is a minimum number of cars in each server. If we had 40 cars and were filling up Server 1 completely and had the rest on their own it would only be 9 cars in the other server. The easiest way to achieve that is to split the grid into two halves.
