Due to a lack of entered drivers Round 5 of the 2013 Genuine Racing GT Masters will be abandoned. Due to the fact that it is not possible to reschedule it within the next 3 weeks it will not be held at a later time either. All results and standings will remain unchanged until Round 6.

All confirmed drivers that did not attend must withdraw by Monday, 09.09.2013 at 20:00 UTC to not receive a 15-point penalty.

Quote from GTO Rulebook Section F.1 :1. All car skins must display the required numberboards on both sides between the wheels and the bonnet/hood of the car as well as the provided sunstrip for their class.
1.1) Teams who field multiple cars in the series must use significantly different looking skins. It must be possible to tell them apart at first sight.
1.2) Any teams, who use skins which do not comply with the previous rule will be penalised with a two point penalty in a race session.
1.3) Skins must also be compliant with the skin regulations on lfsworld.net, meaning that they must not include any nudity, pornographic, racist or any other extremely offensive content. Any driver who's found to be using a skin that's violating these rules will be put on probation for the remainder of the season, or be excluded if necessary.



For clarification:
- PRO-AM must run all skin elements badged as PRO-AM_ in the zip-file.
- AM must run all skin elements badged as AM_ in the zip-file.
- PRO-AM's class colour is WHITE, AM's class colour is BLACK.

Furthermore, you should not modify the skinkit. The colours used for both classes must not be adjusted. The font used for the numberboards is 'Forgotten Futurist Bold' and it should, if possible, be used without any alterations. It's only a recommendation however, you may use a different font if you wish to do so.

Note: Team's with single digit car numbers (0 to 9) do not have to use leading 0's on their numberboards.

Why would the sign-ups be limited if there is pre-qualifying? That wouldn't make amny sence.

1st to 32nd from pre-qualifying will race in Grid 1, 33rd to 64th will race in Grid 2.

And yes indeed quite a lot of XFG's

I'm quite confident that the XFG will be a competitive car over the course of the season, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Just saying that classification should be based on performance (who has finished the race distance fastest or went farthest in case of some problems),just like it has been done all the time before.

Sure, I do know it's not going to change that, and yes I do know you're not arguing because you're someone who actually finishes races even in low positions. Let's say it is more an attempt to keep people in until the end of the race. If it doesn't work out, so be it.

Then take enough fuel. We don't want people at the back to cruise to 75% and just quit afterwards because they know their points are in the bag. Sure you can have bad luck to if you time out, but that happens.

we could see how the first two rounds go & then have a driver vote for the remainder.

That would be totally unfair to the people who then have to endure the ballast before it's voted off.

Success ballast is not going to be used this season.
